We stayed overnight while en route to western New South Wales. The room had enough space for a table and chairs. Often, budget accommodation does not allow this. The bed was large, the pressure in the shower was strong and the water was hot. These features were very welcome. Unfortunately, a generator belonging to an overnight camper in the free parking next door ran intermittently during the night. This noise was a little disruptive but it is a minor detail. We had no difficulty in parking outside our room. Crockery and cutlery was provided. Overall, I would definitely recommend this motel.

Comfortable enough for the price point, decent facilities. It was handy to walk through the back gate to the bowlo next door for dinner & drinks (note the chinese restaurant at the bowlo is a franchise style of thing and they do not take credit cards, only cash, so be prepared. Their food is pretty good though!).

As with all highway motels, traffic noise was a bit annoying, but at least the volume of traffic subsided during the night so it wasn't too much of a bother.

family room was big, comfortable and addition of lounge, microwave, fridge toaster and kettle made it fantastic to stay with kids. Room was clean

Bathroom was old and shower head not the best but water was hot and pressure good. Also a bit of road noise from trucks passing regularly through the night. Didn’t bother us or wake the kids but was noticeable.

Room was tidy, enough space in the family room for 3 adults and 2 children <5 Recent paint work has been done in our particular room so was visually pleasing also.

Daily room cleaning did not occur, and did not see anywhere stating that this would not happen (expectations weren't set), however we probably could've asked for new towels etc if desperate. Otherwise all was ok

Person at reception was friendly & polite, quick check in, property area & motel was clean & tidy, Queen bed & pillows were very comfortable we had a good sleep after travelling quite a way. Plenty of tea bags, sugar & some Biscuits. Air con worked great. Was more then what We expected for what we paid.

Large modern room, bed was extremely comfortable, quiet split system ac. Very clean room. Great kitchen facilities. Dog friendly rooms and a large area to take your pet for a walk. Very friendly and accommodating owners.

Was very close to where we had to go .. the manager was absolutely wonderful , leaving Brisbane didn’t think about it being daylight savings so rang ahead as we weren’t getting there till 9pm . About 20ks heading out of Coonabarabran we got stuck in a horrid storm . This gentleman was awake and greeted us with the nicest welcome about 10.30pm . Nothing was to much trouble at all .

Had car delay before arrival. staff were quick to respond, understanding and helpful. Very welcoming when we arrived, good referral for dinner & offered a little extra support that allowed us to settle after 36 hours of stress.

The bulls head prickles- but that’s the area. it reminded me of my childhood in far western Queensland so actually wasn’t a bad thing.

Easy access

Beds needed a brush out. I got up and moved electrical cabling from obstructing the bathroom exhaust fan as it was clipping the fan and making a terrible noise. Not sure how many people have been putting up with that. No effort but surprised me that it was left like that

Room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The room was clean and you have everything you need for an overnight stay. There's a lovely pool, which I didn't get to try out.

The curtains didn't block enough light. There was some noise from the trucks travelling along the road and there were caravans on the block beside the hotel, which were fine but a couple had dogs and they were barking early in the morning.
