It would have to be the cleanest Motel I have ever stating the owners were super lovely so accommodating and helpful. It’s at the top of my list now as I travel from Queensland to Victoria quite often. this little pet friendly Motel gets a 10 out of 10 from me.❤️

There was nothing I didn’t like

Fabulous hosts with a flair for hospitality and genuinely helpful attitude. Helen is a great host and Terry is equally as keen to provide a great experience for guests. We felt welcomed and treated as special guests! Even recieving sumptuous goodies like cheese and salami with delicious dips and biscuits, all complimentary!! We will definitely make sure we stay again. We really appreciated this, so thoughtful!!

The fact that we couldn't stay longer.

Bungalow was advertised as a motel, even a budget motel. We expected basic facilities. The bed comfort was great, the extra high sitting chairs great, linens and bathroom facilities more than adequate, and complimentary breakfast a total bonus for weary travellers. The host and hostess were delightful, friendly and obvs love what they do. Our pet was welcomed and the venue most suitable.

The bathroom was quite poky, but more than compensated with sink and storage and ventilated window.

It was the perfect half way stop off for our drive between the Sunshine Coast and Melbourne. The owners were welcoming and provided a great service; and the room was extremely clean. We were travelling with a dog and a cat and they were also welcome. It was the perfect spot for very tired travelers to get a good nights sleep before continuing on their journey the next day. I would not hesitate to recommend the Bungalow Motel to others and stay there again if travelling.

Although the facilities are a bit dated everything was clean and comfortable. Having a sink was great and the complementary breakfast very appreciated. Staff extremely friendly. Close to walk into main street, along windmill display and onto information centre. We had everything we needed for a comfortable nights stay.

Trucks on main road but that can't be helped

Location tucked just off the highway. No traffic noise. Owners very professional, friendly, helpful, and charming atmosphere. Very reasonably priced. Provide a complimentary breakfast. Very comfortable bed. Sorry I didn’t take any photos.

There wasn’t anything to dislike but don’t expect frills like tissues, shampoos etc. The price is so reasonable and I’m sure this is by design to keep costs down and reduce waste

Convenient location on the highway thru Gilgandra Safe and easy parking in from of my unit and out-of-sight of the road. Pet friendly room was sparkling clean and comfortable with everything I needed for an overnight stay, The continental breakfast provided was a welcome surprise. The Manager was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for him. Thank you!

new owner helen was most helpful whilst she was still trying to settle in herself she managed to carry out everything required of a motel manager.Light breakfast was supplied on both mornings.

unfortunately there was no good hanging space for clothes but i am sure in time she will have the place running to perfection

We arrived after going through flooded & damaged roads in western NSW - leaving Broken Hill it was a longer drive of about 9 hours (being careful due to the roads, floods & dog breaks) the manager was helpful and friendly, the hotel was very clean and comfortable as well pet friendly - we were put at the end of the row which was very suitable for our Kelpie who is a bit reactive - it was one of the best little roadside motels we have stayed in 🙏

Breakfast was included and they provided a good choice of Cereals, Breads etc. Friendly managers and good sized rooms. They even had the Kitchen sink which makes it much easier for self catering. Nice to have your pets feel as welcome to be there as you are!

Could do with modernized bed comforters but only a small thing and not so important as getting the other bits right.
