Plenty of cutlery, crockery etc all stored in a great drawer system leaving plenty of room on the bench top. Delighted to have a fridge with a working freezer. Likewise, the provision of hand towels is always a winner with me. Room was a good size with an efficient shower that did not take ages to get the correct temperature. Plenty of parking and the pool was a good size and refreshing in those hot Gunnedah days. All the staff were friendly, helpful and approachable.

A consideration for light sleepers would be that the motel is at the crossroads of two highways which, during our stay, had trucks going past all day and night. However, with doors and windows closed at night, much of this noise was minimised. We slept without disturbance.

Older larger rooms accommodation and fairly clean

Cleaning ok but could be better, Grout in bathroom needs updated. Air conditioner updated as wasn’t strong enough to cool room quickly ( and I was there on a slightly warm not hot day). Mattress was ok but not overly comfortable. Parking lot pretty tight with work vehicles in same area. Average motel for area ok have stayed in nicer in smaller towns. Gunnedah seems quite busy most of the year.

Our room was very clean and in very good condition (except for the comment below). It looked like it may have been recently refurbished. We slept very soundly as the bed was so comfortable. The staff were very friendly and keen to help. We were a little concerned about the traffic noise as the motel sits on a roundabout at the junction of two busy roads, however the traffic eased and there was very little overnight. It was a 10 min walk to the town centre.

My only concern was the very large crack in the shower screen which could have been dangerous had it collapsed while we were using the shower. The owners were aware of it so I feel it would possibly have been best not to place occupants in that room until it was fixed.

The motel was clean and updated. Bed was comfortable. Room had everything you needed for an overnight stay but would have been comfortable for a few nights with crockery, cutlery, microwave, toaster, and the standard tea and coffee facilities. Shower was warm with good pressure. Air conditioning kept me cool. Pool looked nice.

Motel is on the intersection of 2 highways. I didn't mind, but others might be bothered by trucks going past all night. TV didn't show picture on a lot of channels, only audio.

The location was perfect, within walking distance to shops, hotels, parks etc. It was clean and well-appointed and the Manager was very helpful.

It was a bit noisy with the traffic with the door open but as soon as you shut the door that could not be heard. I however did expect traffic noise as the hotel is on a roundabout.

I recently stayed at this motel and it exceeded all of my expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. The room was clean, spacious, and had all the necessary amenities. The location was also perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions and restaurants. I highly recommend this motel to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay.

Large room with plenty of bench space, cupboards and a comfortable bed. The air conditioner was much appreciated as it was 32 degrees outside. A toaster, kettle, hair dryer, iron & ironing board all there if you wanted to use them. A small frig with a small freezer that didn't freeze our blocks solid.

The Wi-Fi. The motel is on a busy corner which has a roundabout, the trucks made some noise but not too bad at night and there was nothing after 11:00 pm. not a Biggy.

The room was clean and bed comfortable, well equipped for a one night stay.

The host seemed put out that our room rate was cheaper than his current pricing. Given that we booked almost 12 months prior that is not our problem. I thought at first he was going to say he didn't have our reservation.

Perfect location easy to get in and out. Just on the edge of town! Right near painted silos was beautiful! Really comfortable beds too. Free wifi was a plus.

I didn't know the trucks were being detoured down the bottom end so was very loud all Friday, by 6 it had calm down.

The new manager is amazing. I’ve stayed here many many times prior for extended stays due to work commitments and I can definitely see an overall major improvement since Bec has taken over management. The feel of the rooms and the overall ambience is second to none, with room service and cleaning every day. Bec has been absolutely amazing, what an asset to an essential business. Highly recommended. I’ll see you again next Monday.
