The facilities were clean. The environment was quiet.

The tissue box was hidden away in a cupboard in the bathroom; had to check with the staff; would be better if it's placed on the table near the TV.

We visited Hay for a couple of days sightseeing. We wanted a motel that was clean, comfortable and had some amenities; like a refrigerator, microwave, cutlery and crockery. This motel had everything we needed. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the room had clearly been updated with modern furnishings. The manager was friendly and checked if there was anything else we needed. Very happy with this motel. We would stay here again no problem!

Our only disappointment was there was no guest laundry. After speaking to the manager, she commented that it was something they were working on. But in the meantime there is a laundromat in town. It still does not change our rating of this motel. We would happily return again.

When returning from NSW to Adelaide SA following an unexpected trip due to a family medical emergency, it was an easy decision to return to the Highway Inn, which is where we’d stayed for a stopover on the way from SA to NSW. The staff were kind, friendly and accommodating and the room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. We all particularly appreciated how lovely the staff were both times and that they were willing to accommodate late check ins due to our long drives. If we’re ever staying in Hay again we will definitely consider booking here!

Staff were easy to communicate with, kind and friendly. They made arrangements for us so that we could arrive after hours without issue, after a long drive from Adelaide SA. The price was very reasonable and the room was perfectly clean with a comfortable bed. It was perfect for our stopover and the staff who spoke to us as we packed the car the following morning were so lovely which we really appreciated as we were about to continue our drive through to Toronto due to a family medical emergency.

Absolutely gorgeous room. There was plenty of space for our family to stay in comfortably & not get in each other's way. The owner was so lovely and checked in on us after we'd settled in to make sure we were comfortable & had everything we needed. We recieved an upgrade from a standard room to a family room to give me a larger bathroom space ( I'd enquired upon arrival as to the availability of the disabled room because I'd just thrown my back out). I can't recommend this motel highly enough. Everything about it exceeded our expectations.

Owners were awesome. Accomadated our late check-in and were very helpful despite the late hour The accom was excellent, fit our fam of 5 very comfortably Beds were comfy with elec blankets which was perfect for middle of winter. Also great heating throughout accom also Big bathtub and piping hot water made for a great break off the road Very clean and comfortable all round plus really good value for money A+, will DEF stay again

Very clean motel with spacious room. Very nice staff, quiet location, great value. Comfortable beds and powerful shower. It has everything we need for a comfortable overnight stay during road trip.

Previous guest may accidentally setup a TV alarm which woke me up midnight…but it’s not the motel’s fault. Part of travel experience…not really bother.

We had an awesome stay at this property. Owner was humble, kind and happy to provided warm hospitality. The motel's prime location offered easy access to local attractions, making it an ideal choice for travelers. After a long day in the car with a toddler and a newborn this place was fantastic. Management was friendly and helpful, room was large (like most country motor inns) and clean. Parking at the door made lugging all that goes with a young family a breeze. Bowlo with a bistro and small play area across the road and a nice refreshing pool; perfect for wearing out little ones before and after long hauls in the car. We found the noise from the trucks to be minimal as they are cornering slowly as opposed to rattling past as they do the other motels on the main street.

Nothing, this place is perfect and the price was right!

The room was clean and welcoming and the facilities were also clean. There was a fridge and microwave and some glassware which was handy and many powerpoints for charging. There were fresh towels and sheets.

There were no bed side table lamps had total darkness. The beds were not very comfortable but adequate for our stay. There was no room in bathroom for storing or placing our toiletries which made it difficult to use the wash basin.
