We were just passing through and needed to book an overnight stay—and this hotel truly exceeded our expectations! The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean and well-maintained. It came with all the essential amenities a family could need: iron, ironing board, hair dryer, refrigerator, cutlery, bedding, plates, dishwasher, and even thoughtful extras like cookies for the kids, a milk bottle, sugar, and other condiments. The heater kept us cozy, and overall, the setup was perfect—especially for a family with two young children. Highly recommended!

To be honest there was nothing that we didn't like. Maybe it would have been good if there was an option to wash car as when you are out on a road trip, cars often get dirty and a hose or some facility to wash car can be an added benefit.

We were travelling by road to Canberra and return, so this was simply an overnight stop both ways. We weren't expecting the Ritz, but we were expecting a clean room and a comfortable Queen size bed. What we got was the clean room, very comfortable Queen size bed, and a great night's sleep ready for the drive the next morning. The facilities were tiny, but functional, the bathroom & toilet were combined and also very functional. We were both surprised at the water pressure in the shower, it was fantastic. The lady at Reception was the only staff member we saw, and she was very friendly, courteous and professional.

To be honest, the only thing I can complain about is the TV didn't have the Netflix app. If the TV had the Netflix app/function, then the guest could log in under their own account. The Motor Inn doesn't need to have a Netflix account, just the app installed, so the guest has the option.

We were travelling from Adelaide to Canberra (return), so this was almost a halfway stop to rest, sleep, have dinner & breakfast. The Motor Inn meet the requirements perfectly. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was so comfortable, we both had a great night's sleep. The bathroom was tiny, but the water pressure & shower were great. Tiny kitchenette, but that was to be expected. The Motor Inn was everything I expected and Hay, NSW met our requirements for our journey quite nicely. The lady at the reception was lovely, polite & courteous.

Bidgee Motor Inn is located in an easy to find & convenient location in Hay main street. I have stayed here overnight on quite a few occasions when traveling home from interstate trips. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the rooms have always been clean and comfortable. I find the price to be fair and reasonable and the accommodation quite suitable for an overnight stay. The bathrooms are always lovely and clean and the water pressure good.

I informed Booking.com more than 48 hours before my stay that there was only one guest not 2 adults and 2 children. The motel proprietor did relocate me on arrival from a family room to a one bedroom which was more removed from other families and nearer to the EV charging station. I did not receive a reduction in tariff from Booking.com. No breakfast is available.

Perfect location in the centre of town. We were able to walk up and get pizza direct from town. Great location for a stop over from Canberra to Adelaide. Parking was directly in front of our room Our room was clean and comfortable. While it's not super new it was very clean and well maintained.

The only bummer was the fridge was turned off and I didn't think to check when we entered our room.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are simple - clean, tidy and very comfortable beds. It isn't overly fancy but if you just need a stop for the night, this is a great option. Great location - walking distance to supermarket, pubs, takeaway, bakery etc.

We got one of the last rooms which was closest to the road so it was a bit noisy but we were exhausted and still slept well.

Lovely clean room, hot shower and super friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location, perfect for an overnight stop on your travels. Two pubs just 100-200m up the road where you can grab a decent dinner and a beer, and just 100m further there's a nice bakery which opens early so you can grab a coffee before you hit the road the next morning.

The staff member was really lovely and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable and the room was nice and clean. The shower had good pressure as well.

There was a really bright light at the bottom of the tv that we couldn't cover. This could be easily fixed with some of those l.e.d. light stickers. And the towels were quite small, so some larger bath sheets would be appreciated. Otherwise no complaints!

The staff memeber was very polite, friendly and was helpful in recommended where to get dinner. The room we stayed in was clean, neat, tidy, hot shower and comfortable beds. There was a swimming pool and a BBQ facilities/outdoor fridge facilities area.

There was nothing that I didnt like. I was happy with the Bidgee motor inn.
