Smooth check-in, pleasant welcome, central location, very clean, modern bathroom, reasonably firm mattress, fluffy towels, minimal road noise (unit was at the rear though).

This was one of those places that you think it will be just a daggy country town motel. Well what a surprise - such a clean room, spacious and well presented. We had the 2 room one which was right in front of the pool which means had a great swim - only one in it. But the nicest thing on a 38c day was the aircon was on when we arrived. Great room - IGA across the road and even though shows a pub next door (we thought oh no noise) it’s only accomadation now. Really quiet and we will stay again when we come through. Shower too is huge and great hot water and pressure.

Super clean, comfortable, modern - greeted by warm friendly staff who had already turn on the air conditioning for us on a 40°C day! So we walked into a cool room. Located a short block from Hay’s delicious pizza joint right in the centre of town. Room contents well thought out - plates, cups, glasses. Include chilled bottled water and fresh milk, coffee/tea and biscuits. Kettle, toaster, iron - want for nothing really.

Nothing in particular - bed a little squishier than my personal preference by slept well so no complains! Excellent spare pillows that didn’t smell musty or dusty like some other places so really no complains!

The restaurant has a new chef! After travelling around from Sydney to Adelaide and stopping at alot of hotels & pubs we couldnt believe that they were only charging $18 for a 250g steak. Pear/rocket salad $8 - everything was cooked to order and made fresh. Steaks were cooked medium rare - hard to get a steak cooked to your liking anywhere. This restaurant is a well kept secret and we highly recommend it. You can drink and eat and just walk back to your room. The room was nice and clean and the pool was great in the 40 degree conditions on that day! Our 3 year old loved it.

Loved everything about the place.It was spacious, clean, comfortable with a modern bathroom with a great shower. A swimming pool to cool off and hostess Pam was so friendly and accommodating. We were originally concerned about having just a bar fridge in the room, but the size of the fridge and freezer sections were ample to accommodate our travelling needs. Pam also offered to freeze our ice bricks if there wasn't enough room.

Lovely, clean and comfortable property. Located on a Main Street and across from a supermarket. Parking space inside motel grounds was very convenient. Bed was very comfortable! Wonderful, friendly host and great staff. This was our second stay here and we look forward to going back to the Saltbush Motor Inn next time we travel to Hay.

The reception was very good and friendly. We received beach towels as we were going to use the pool which was great. The room was large and comfortable. Bathroom and shower were very clean. The IGA was across the road so we purchased some frozen meals and used the microwave in the room. WIFI was free and worked well. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and quiet. Parking was outside the room.
