The building is well constructed and walls separating the adjacent rooms are of solid bricks. One of the best features within the room is the shower design...where, unlike most other hotels and motels, it is impossible to wet the floor outside the shower area! Great job and it is one that can claim to have a dry bathroom floor! The owner was exceptionally friendly and helpful, giving us good advice for our short stay there! She had also wished us happy and safe travels at checkout, something which is relatively rare in commercial enterprises that have high turnovers. Thumbs up!

It has had a revamp and is comfortable and unique. The staff are amazing and accommodating. The complementary coffee etc is handy and love the little touches that make a big difference! Great work ladies! It's safe and secure! And the atmosphere is just welcoming and wonderful. It's central to the two major food takeaways and lots more. The public pool and hot pools are down the road aswell!

Reception was open when arrived and personal service was appreciated. Locks on gate felt safer for vehicle

Reception stated to contact if needed anything however when I rang the bell on couple occasions no one answered. TV did not work well as some stations were sound only

The air con was on and had clearly been so for a while as when we checked in the room was lovely and chilled which was really appreciated The water pressure in the shower is FANTASTIC and exactly what you’re looking for after a 11 hour drive Everything was spotless

The lights outside the rooms did make it quite bright throughout the night but aside from that I can’t fault anything

The room was clean and had everything I needed for my 5 night stay (microwave, plates. ,bowls, cutlery, quiet bar fridge, smart tv). The couple managing the Whinchester were very friendly and helpful. The WiFi was surprisingly good - enough to make video calls and work remotely.

The area for smokers needs to be moved away from the rooms as the smoke enters through the gap under door. Perhaps the area where the pool used to be should become the area for smokers

First impressions when we walked in the room was how clean & maintained it was. Very close to places walking distance to local pool, two restaurants Thai and Chinese. Thai is the closest Just down the street is Maccas. And if you want a cold beer across from the pool is a local pub and drive through. Staff were great. I called early in the afternoon just to notify we would be late which was no problem to the on-site manager. I will have no issues booking the Winchester again 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

We were under the impression that the gate would be locked overnight because of the crime in Moree, but it wasn’t. Several guests appeared to be permanent residents and were loud and fighting with each other. One of their visitors made a scene trying to get into their room in the early hours.

That the motel is dog friendly. Not too far from motorway (Newell hwy). Parks within a 5 -8 minute drive to walk my dog

The location of the motel is situated in a run down part of the town. Shabby buildings. But the motel itself was fine.

The staff at Winchester motel was excellent always greeting people with a big smile I would definitely be staying again thanks guys 😀

Securely fenced, they even accommodated to secure behind the locked fence our large furniture trailer being towed by one of our 4wd and our other 4wd as we are travelling due to relocation.
