Close to everything….beach, shops, cafes, and very quiet. it was as advertised, a 31/2 star property. It was clean, and staff were very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable. I needed somewhere last minute during school holidays that was dog friendly. I booked for a couple of nights, and ended up extending an extra night.

The Internet was playing up, but that was not the fault of the operators. The fridge was so cold it froze my food, but I expect in summer that wouldn’t have been an issue.

Location was great, 2min short walk to the beach, 5min walk to the cafes and local shops. Unit accommodation was spacious, clean and suitable for a short stay.

Not able to have a sleep in, house keeping trolleys are very loud when rattling past your unit door on the pavers. Would be good to have the option of putting a sign on your unit door 'do not disturb' or 'no house keeping required', to save house keeping staff time and also so customers don't have to answer the unit door, when house keeping knock. Staff using water gurney/ pressure washing area outside units during AM over Easter weekend. Very loud and disruptive if you're trying to rest and relax.

The motel is old style - comfortable, roomy, clean and tidy. It felt like "home". The location at main beach ( a pleasant stroll away through the lovely park) is excellent. Staff very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay there again.

This was not the motel's fault but nature !! The beach was closed. NE wind blowing coral sperm, reef refuse etc onto beach and for about 100 yds out. Water was dark brown sludge and smelt awful.

The standard queen room was spacious and we loved the kitchenette which had everything we needed. Our room was quiet and super clean. Staff were friendly. The location was fabulous: just metres to shops and the beach.

This is just a small point: The bedspread was old-fashioned. Some updated bed linen would have lifted the whole look of the interior.

Close to the beach and an easy walk up to the shops. Quiet street. Traveling alone, so the room was plenty big enough for one person. The woman who runs Palms is lovely - kind, helpful and knowledgeable and keen to share local information.

The music from the cafe next door was a bit loud, but was ok once you closed the windows and door. The room was maybe a little bit expensive - if it was $10-20 less I would have thought that was fine.

Great quiet location, very near the beach and a walk to shops. Spacious room with everything we needed to self cater. A good BBQ area. A little outdated but comfortable.

Nice seating area outside but unfortunately there were always people smoking which we find unpleasant and uncomfortable. Given the proximity of the rooms and the dangers of passive smoking we can't understand why hotels still permit smoking in shared spaces.

The location was fantastic for both beach and town. Everything in agnes Waters was walkable from the hotel. It was very clean, comfortable with well stocked cutlery and crockery we used the kettle, toaster and microwave.

I'm not sure if the cafe next door had anything to do with the hotel, but it was so husy we waited over 45 minutes just for coffee, and they had no sugar at all. Despite how packed it vwas there was no noise heard in our room and we were right next door to reception so our room was quiet.

The front office staff were so nice and friendly. Love the location. it is easy to walk everywhere.

Very basic kitchen. We had to buy a few things for us to cook properly. There are no power points anywhere except 1 in the kitchen and 1 in the bathroom. Not very handy if you're cooking and someone needs to charge a device. There's no where to do it. A bedside lamp would be nice.

The motel is a very short stroll to the main beach. Our room was super clean, the beds and pillows were so comfortable - everything you want when travelling. We had a room on the back and it was so quiet that even with the windows open to the driveway, our sleep was not disturbed. For its price range, location and comfort- we wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Great location with very easy access to beach. Plenty of room for a family with teenagers. Firm beds which is so rare in hotels. Excellent. The restaurant downs stairs was very good and convenient.

We did not have an easy-to-use outdoor area but really this is not needed given the location and local facilities. The restaurant is audible as directly below our room, but they close at 8.30pm so not a bother.
