The staff were really great. Could not have been more helpful The location could not have been better. The room was clean and comfortable. Loved being able to walk right onto the beach

The Wi-Fi was totally inadequate where we were located away from the main reception. Where we had to go to make further travel arrangements on the Internet. The restaurant associated with the hotel was closed, apparently a regular occurrence in February, making catering a bit inconvenient. The bathroom sink, the only source of water was so small that it was not possible to fill the kettle or water bottles without using a scoop of some sort Bed was VERY soft.for me.

Sandcastles has everything you could need and it's position is perfect for those wanting to explore 1770 and Agnes Water. It's close to the 1770 Marina where you can do the fantastic Larc tour or the 1770 Lady Musgrave tour. There's great food options near by as well as the lovely restaurant Drift and Wood at Sandcastles which had live music while we were staying.

We had ants in our unit but that's the way it is and you cannot do much about them other than getting rid of any rubbish straight away to hopefully stop them coming in.

Very relaxed open atmosphere with all you need within walking distance to main beach in Agnes waters 😎🤙 small surf most time thats good for learning and fishing also if surf is flat great for familys also has a bar and very popular restaurant “Sandcastles” on ground level below accommodation 👌always busy very popular with locals

Not much only issue is wifi as reception drops in out depending on your service provider but no dramas at all 😎🤙❤️🙏

Motel was a 5 min walk to the beach and close to shops by car. The beach was good for swimming and surfing with lifeguards at the far right side of the beach. It was a good location to get to our LARC excursion at 1770, which we enjoyed even though we got rain half through, Neil our driver and company owner made our trip all that more pleasurable by his witty commentary! Highly recommend the LARC excursion! We also drove up to the 1770 and Wave Lookouts as there is a parking lot at the top and one just before the top. You can also choose to do the hike that goes to the Lookouts and if you are lucky there will be lots of butterflies along the way. We walked up to the two Lookouts from the parking lot and saw quite a few butterflies along the way there. Lots of scenic views along the paths.

This would be the perfect motel if the room were better equipped: there is no luggage rack nor a table where one could place the suitcase, no shower soap, just one piece of soap for 2 days, 2 persons. Large TV set sits on the "kitchen" work surface instead of being placed on a wall, makeing it almost impossible to prepare a small meal. Tea kettle cannot be filled over the small bathroom sink.

The beach was a 350 metre walk. The pool was across and access road and while there was a great restaurant on the ground floor it was shut for two of the nights we were there. The resort was an easy walk to the village shopping centre.

There were quite a few steps up to the unit we were in. The curtains in our room didn’t close properly so it was early when the sunlight was entering the room.

The beds were very comfortable and the pool was lovely. Good access to the beach and close to the shops.

There was no broom or dustpan & brush in the motel room which would have been helpful to sweep the room out daily as my kids were in and out of the ocean, dragging in sand. Rooms were a bit pricey for a studio but I guess you have to expect that during peak holiday season.

Short walk to the beach, and lovely pools and spas on site. The Beach House, although a bit older, was comfortable and quiet. Underground parking, and EV charging was available.

- the room needed a bit of maintenance, eg the fan in the bathroom did not work. At the time of staying another beach house in the block was being renovated, and there was some unavoidable noise from the work.

we were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a Beach home which was amazing. The position of the property only 3min walk from beach.

Being so quiet a place and in such close proximity noise Carries. Unfortunately homes opposite us were having some excavating work done in preparation for turfing quite noisy but just for a couple of days. Just unlucky timing. Also the beachhome below had a pool with 4 very young children screaming, not just yelling at 7:15 on a Sunday morning, once again,just unfortunate. The reception staff were very understanding, and that group had vacated for the next night.

This location was peaceful and quiet, and our Garden Unit was absolutely delightful. We had a lovely deck, well-equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer, large bedroom and comfy eating and seating areas. The staff could not be more welcoming and helpful. A minor problem was dealt with immediately and fixed as soon as humanly possible. Access to a great beach was enjoyable, but there was also a pool if sand was not your thing.

There was nothing at all to not like. I would have liked to stay longer.
