While I expected the hotel to be older in style, (i used to frequent the place as a younger person before the renovation in about 1995) the upstairs is a nice mix of vintage and new. I had the bathroom to myself the first two nights - water pressure was fantastic and HOT. Shampoo etc was fantastic that it was already in there. Bed was comfy and better than many places I've slept throughout the world! Really enjoyable stay. I come to visit my parents here and this gave us some room :) totally recommend.

Only that i wish I had time to go down for a drink for old times sake..

Very happy with O'Sheas as it was exactly as described and very comfortable. Convenient location in town and also easy to access food etc downstairs in the bar, although couldn't hear any noise when we went to bed. Free parking on site was a bonus. The room was a good size for a pub and the shared bathrooms very clean with toiletries provided.

We would've liked a kettle in the room as when travelling each day you are up early to get on the road, and the morning cuppa is a must to get you going! Luckily there is a bakery right beside the pub which opens at 4am which does a great coffee.

handy location, convenient having the bar below for dinner. communal type facilities were great for being on a budget.

The double bed was terrible, had a massive hollow in the middle, made it impossible for my partner and I to sleep together as we kept rolling into the middle. suggest a new mattress at the very least. Also a plate or toaster in the room would be handy, and a light bulb in the bedside lamp that doesn't blind you would ne nice.

The self contained, 3 bedroom family unit was spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet. Perfect for our group of 4 mature aged women. The hotel is in the main street of town. We had nice meals at the hotel restaurant downstairs. The bar was lively and welcoming. The owner kindly allowed us to trickle charge our EV overnight.

We would have appreciated toiletries in the bathroom.

Location was great. Pub was excellent - resteurant was brilliant! Clean and comfortable and very friendly! Brilliant water pressure. Generous sized room. I was in #6 with a Queen size bed and a twin and an ensuite bathroom. Bathroom was clean. Also to share (as I had a look): the shared bathroom was clean and tidy and definately worth considering if you are considering that option.

Getting up the steps after a long bar session can be tricky

Management assisted us with a change of room, which was very much appreciated.

We felt that the price was very high, particularly when compared to similar places we have stayed at.

The location to town, the price of the rooms. I booked this late and didn't really expect much for the price. How wrong I was.

In terms of the country pubs where I stayed this one is as good as any . Also its a very safe place to stay because there is good security

Central, easy to get in and out. Off street parking.

Shared bathroom but there was separate men and women facilities. They were clean and had a bath which was helpful with our toddler.
