The room was beautifully decorated, bed was comfortable, air conditioning was great and the smell when I first walked in was great. Very clean. Shower was lovely and hot.

I stayed in the queen room with ensuite and it didn't have a bar fridge. I understand that this beautiful old hotel has lots of rooms that have shared bathrooms and there is a communal fridge but clientele that stay in the queen room with ensuite do not want to put their goodies in a shared fridge. They want to have their own fridge as they have their own bathroom. There is plenty of space in that room to put a bar bridge. Also, it should have an iron and an ironing board as well, which also there would be room to store these items.

The beds were very comfortable. You could hear the pub downstairs but the noise was nice and the music turned off around 10. Staff on shift that night were amazing. The power in our room went out at 9:30 and everyone downstairs in reception and the bar area were finishing up their shifts and going home but still stayed and helped us fix our problem. Called a few people and then we went hunting for the braker switch with one of the lovely ladies. Cleaner lady was also lovely and very friendly and said hi to us in the morning

Room smelt a bit musty (though you didn't notice after being in it a while), someone's used towel was on a hook behind the door but this is a very easy thing to miss (as a cleaner for a few months I know this very well). So other than maybe double checking the room before declaring it done, i have no further tips!

Booking.com did not contact staff when I changed my booking. However the Maleny hotel staff were amazing and gave me a free room upgrade. Because of booking.com's failure. Beautiful beer garden and dog friendly, with a beautiful creek just behind the hotel

Booking.com needs to communicate better with hotel staff

The staff were great couldn`t of been better. My partner left her cap in the room. They let her back in after we`d left with no fuss. Friendly folk. About all i can say.

Cheaper drinks at the pub maybe. But that`s all pubs. Really no complaints. All was good.

Exceptionally comfy room, huge & loved how we had the balcony! Even a beautiful little sparrows nest outside .

Friendly staff, comfortable room, great central location in Maleny township, and very good value for money. Highly recommended to anyone wanting to visit the area. Also, handy for dinner and a drink in the inhouse Bistro!

This is an older building so the ambiance is olde-worlde... which is charming. Shared bathroom was clearly stated on the website, so quite acceptable. A busy location on a main road, but sleeping hours were mostly quiet.

The accommodation was great and clean, well presented, the staff were very friendly and went out of their way, impressive service, the food was brilliant, served hot and fresh and they have xxxx bitter on tap 😊

Always like staying at the Maleny Hotel. Such a beautiful old building in the Queensland tradition, right in town and close to all the shops, sympathetically renovated, nice decor, comfortable bed, air conditioned rooms. Friendly staff only too eager to please, nice dining area, very popular at meal times. Will definitely stay again next time we pass through Maleny.

Room with ensuite was spacious enough for 3 night stay. Security swipe was good, as it enabled entry after hotel closing hours

Really nice country pub hotel with great food, right next to woolies. Some rooms have seperate room/cupboard for cups/plates/bags/wardrobe. Very historical place and guest-only lovely long, original balcony to enjoy some drinks and watch the world go by. Fridge freezer and microwave to use.

Could do with extra blind/better curtains as the light shines in very brightly in bare window above door (2-3m high).
