As a group of 7 (mostly family members), and then 10, there was a variety of different areas with ample seating for us all to either spread out and go our separate ways, or hang together. There was plenty of spare bedding and warm blankets and throws for the cold. Well stocked fridge and pantry with fresh produce and extras for breakfast, including various appliances for tea and coffee making. Fireplace and plenty of wood. Lovely sun room to relax for morning cuppa and breaky. Clean and fresh bedding with a good supply of towels, etc, for each person. Wrap around verandah with doors off most of the rooms. Heaps of plates, cutlery and cooking utensils, glasses of all kinds, mugs, cooking, and serving trays, a separate fridge for drinks, and an assortment of table cloths, place mats, and tea towels. Lovely tranquil grounds to wander around.

It's not a dislike but... the spa/ jacuzzi only reached a lukewarm temp, so it was a little disappointing. One room on the eastern side had no blinds, curtains, or shutters (like the other rooms) for privacy from the verandah, and therefore also had the sun hitting the pillows first thing in the morning.

We had the most wonderful time and will 100% be returning in the future. Sabine and Jake looked after us throughout our stay and everything was perfect! Thank you so much to the both of them and for all the extra treats in the fridge on arrival.

Possibly need a little lesson or more instructions on how hot and hot cold the hottub gets. It was too cold for the first day and too hot the next morning. We worked it out in the end, with Sabine and Jakes assistance too. Defintely the best part of the house, and the huge living room!

This was the most dreamy accommodation. From the moment we arrived, Sabina was friendly and the most perfect hostess. The cottage was light filled, secluded and clean. Every little detail was carefully thought out - from the fridge stocked with local produce (including home made baked goodies and bubbles!), the perfectly heated and sparkling spa, and the fireplace set for when the sun went down couldn’t have been more perfect. Fantastic location walking distance to town and immaculate property. We can’t wait to stay again!

Loved it all!! Sabina is an excellent hostess. The property is gorgeous and immaculate. Everything you could want was provided; breakfast sorted (ham, eggs tomatoes and mushrooms and fresh bread and local yoghurt and jams), champagne on ice, chocolates and a hot tub read to go. Every detail carefully provided, right down to towels next to the hot tub and robes to wear in and out and around the house!! The location is gorgeous complete with platypus in the dam a short stroll down the driveway to watch at dawn or dusk. And Sabina was happy to answer questions about Maleny that really enhanced our stay.

Both homestead and cottage are past a long and scenic driveway, so there is privacy but yet easily accessible. The grounds within the property are really well-maintained and great for walking my pets. The town is an easy walk from the property. Cottage was really comfortable and nicely furnished. The fridge was very well-stocked and even including a complimentary bottle of sparking wine. We (and our furkids) really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Sabina our host was very friendly and responsive to my queries and requests and came personally to say goodbye to us as we drove off at the end of our stay.

There wasn't really anything that we could find fault with.

We had an exceptional stay at the Maleny Homestead. Sabina went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even leaving a thoughtful care package of food for our arrival. The place was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly private — exactly what we were hoping for. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and so peaceful, making it the perfect escape. Highly recommend and would happily stay again.

We loved our stay in the gorgeous cottage, it was so cozy & very comfortable. The location was so peaceful, waking up to beautiful bird sounds, my favourite I think was called a whip bird, sounded like we were in a rainforest, yet we were so close to town, about a 10-15 walk. Sabina is very welcoming, there to greet us when we arrived to ensure we had everything we needed & tell us about the short cut into town. The extra personal touch that Sabina left for us in the cottage was so lovely. I would recommend anyone wanting a nice peaceful getaway to stay here. Thank you Sabina

My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much, the cottage is very comfortable and cosy, we really appreciated the condiments provided, it's a very nice experience when you arrive you can enjoy a good cup of tea and beautiful fresh bread, butter and jams all locally sourced. We love, Love, LOVE everything about this little cottage ... its quaint, quirky, exceptionally well appointed and located in the most beautiful country setting. Warm welcomes and complimentary treats (so yummy) are an added bonus and such a lovely touch. We look forward to returning again.

Quiet, private, peaceful, beautiful gardens, awesome with compliments brekky food and bubbly. Bed was so comfy! The best place to unwind and our little old sausage dog enjoyed it so much too. Could sun herself out on the deck, walk around inside and had her own back yard to walk around in. Heated spa outside was great too. Sabina the host was so lovely. The gardens are just picturesque! 100% reccomend.
