Clean rooms, comfortable beds and sofa bed. Well equipped decent sized kitchen with kettle, toaster, microwave and an electric fry pan. Beautiful view of the hinterland, we loved standing out there to take it all in. Great pool with comfortable chairs and table set up. BBQ area was nice and undercover. The whole place was just stunning surrounded by nature and fresh air. Local shops and restaurants only a 5 minute drive and well worth a walk through to enjoy what the area has to offer. Susie the manager and staff were lovely and accommodating, we will be back for sure.

We only stayed overnight but room was very comfortable. The location was great to explore the area. The views were good from first floor. The pool and BBQ areas looked inviting but time & weather didn't permit us to use these facilities, but we enjoyed the walk around the gardens. Checkin was easy following instructions sent by email. Room price was "much" cheaper through booking.com than direct with property.

Room wasn't completely cleaned. There were stains on coffee table and plastic packaging under bed. (We found this when looking for something we dropped) Too often staff do not clean under furniture and it is sometimes not pleasant what is found there.

Room was clean, spacious, well-appointed and modern with quality fixtures and fittings. Beds comfortable and the room was quiet despite overlooking the road. Blockout curtains were appreciated. Easy to find and good parking. Very good amenities (pool, barbecue area, elevator, laundry). Good communication from the venue, and check in and check out (contactless) was easy. Didn't see any staff on site, but not a problem. Great views from the top floor.

Lighting in the pool area would be nice. The electronic compendium link did not work. But these are very minor things.

Lovely comfortable stay. Excellent facilities ( kitchenette). I stayed with a friend, so one of us used the bed and the other the sofa Bed - both were extremely comfortable

We were going to sit by under the pergola by the pool for a little while but the pool gate was locked ( it was raining, so maybe it was locked for safety?) and the cleaning staff were talking loudly early in the morning - but apart from those minor problems it was all excellent

We are over from the Uk visiting our son and family who live on the Sunshine Coast. We wanted to have a short break away and chose The Clouds because we loved the idea of being in the rain forest. We stayed in one of the deluxe cottages which are separate from the main hotel and you really feel in the rain forest! The cottage was very comfortable and clean with a lovely comfy large bed. The bath in the room was great too and so lovely to look out on the lush canopy listening to the sounds of the forest. The air conditioning worked well but we also loved sitting out on the verandah too!( don’t forget to bring insect repellent if you want to sit out in the evening) The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to make a basic supper/ breakfast ! The staff, including Susie, Bree and the cleaners were very helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

Great location, room is comfortable and clean, has nice view in the front.

No hair dryer ; milk in the fridge was opened, when I grabbed it out, it spilled a little bit, I wiped and left it out side, then it can be replaced for next customer (the milk was put very inside on the first shelf, looks like it haven’t been touched, maybe that’s why it hasn’t been replaced); half of the tea bags have no individual wrapping, not sure that’s two different types of teas or been opened but not replaced, so we ends up not touching them.

Location is great, room was clean and tidy and had nice view out of the balcony. Always nice place to stay just a short drive from Montville on the main road. Pool area is nice and we did have a swim. 2nd time we have stayed here.

Cafe was not open despite what Google and hotel website indicated. Many people staying that night and a few as well from outside the hotel turned up to go to the cafe for breakfast but it never opened. It was during the xmas break but a simple sign on the cafe door could have made it clear they were not opening.

Continental breakfast was quite sparse. Could have offered more condiments and yoghurt

Other guests were very noisy, standing in the walkway between the rooms talking very loudly at 5.15am. These same guests continued the loud conversations without any consideration for the other guests at the accommodation from 5.15 onwards until they left at about 9am. The staff should have asked them to quieten down and be considerate of the other guests.

Difficulty finding the room, lift difficult to operate, went up in the lift then had to go down the stairs to get to the room. Could have done with more directions to help find the room. Power point near the bed difficult to use due to location and my inability to kneel on the floor. Chairs in the room very uncomfortable.

The views were wonderful and the pool was set up well. Complimentary Netflix was fantastic. Location was amazing away from busyness but still a close drive to the shops. Lovely breeze in summer through apartment when doors are open. Contactless check in and check out made staying easy.

Doors didn’t have fly-screen so when doors are open for a breeze and cooking, bugs and mozzies get in. Bathroom floor may need a clean with soap residue marks visible on dark coloured tiles.
