The room is very well appointed with a fabulous view, close enough to Montville to walk everywhere. Great location. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The balcony / Spa area was not as private as I expected as you are literally on the main road frontage. You do have the option to close off the blind screen - then you loose the view you have paid for. There is a lot of care noise during the day with the balcony doors open. At night once you close everything off the car noise was nil. However they could benefit from some form of black out blinds, as once the sun came up at 5.30am it was very bright in the room.

The spa bath on the balcony was nothing but amazing, the spa is huge and comfortably fits two people and at one end the jets face downwards into your shoulders and it is like heaven, the water is beautiful tank water which is not filled with chemicals or chlorine or anything like that so it was just divine. The fireplace was awesome and the air conditioning was superb

I didn’t like that. There was no sink. I was in a spa suite with one bedroom so I thought perhaps they would’ve been a slightly bigger kitchenette. Initially, I didn’t have a microwave in my room however Donna the reception staff was amazing and acquired one for me so I could use my heat pack for my medical condition.

The property was very close to the main part of town. The property is a very beautiful boutique hotel situated in the perfect spot. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were quite large. The spa bath was such an awesome feature. The fridges in the room are super cold keeping all refreshments nice and cool. The shower pressure was great. The room included everything and we felt it was the perfect stay for our type of travel. The food at the restaurant was to sooo yummy! The staff were lovely in the restaurant and the receptionist was great.

I didn’t not like anything, we thoroughly enjoyed it. The only thing that would be nice maybe is for the restaurant to do breakfast or a small cafe for coffees in the morning.

The person or people stocking the room and doing the cleaning etc had thought of everything. I noticed a lot of attention to detail in various aspects of security with FOB cards and a card to manage using the electricity. I felt quite safe within my room. The room was definitely clean. We enjoyed the Hot Tub/Spa which fit us both well. I liked the bed it was very comfy mattress and felt like ours at home my wife said. Rebecca and I celebrated 10 years marriage here and will hopefully come back in the not too distant future. Thanks Altitude on Montville staff :-)

The only issue I found which is a very minor one was the WiFi seemed like it was struggling quite a lot. And as mobile coverage isn't as common I relied on the Altitude on Montville WiFi network a bit. I think it would be an easy fix either upgrading the link (plan speed) or the modem itself providing the WiFi. That said it worked and wasn't an additional charge so that was a huge win in itself.

Generally well designed accessible bathroom. Luggage bench at good height for wheelchair accessibilty - unlike tables (see below). Very comfortable very large double bed.

No tables in accessible studio that were suitable for person in wheelchair. Table by window way too high and cloth table in front of couch too low and unsuitable for computer or writing use. Fixed soap bottles in bathroom unreachable from shower bench. Outside wheelchair lift to rooms from car park needs updating - very steep to alight at bottom.

We had a fantastic experience! The location and view were stunning, and the easy, relaxed walk into the town centre made it even better. The lady who greeted us was incredibly friendly and helpful, which set the tone for a lovely stay. Our room was excellent—comfortable, clean, and perfect for unwinding. This spot is ideal for a recharge, and we highly recommend it. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!

Just the stairs but that would be our problem due to age and bad knees lol!!!

The room was very modern and very clean. Loved the provision of proper china tea cups as well as coffee cups. The spa was a lovely way to relax after days exploring.

It's weird not to be asked "how was your stay?" when handing in keys. I would have given a really positive feedback - but not to be asked seemed like staff were not concerned one way or the other.

My partner and I had a fantastic stay here! We were offered a complimentary early check-in, which was a lovely start. The room had stunning views and a massive spa bath right on the balcony – such a treat! Perfect location, just a short stroll to local shops and with a charming little gin distillery right next door. We will definitely be staying again.

Large spacious rooms. Comfortable bed. Close to town. Lots of parking. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Not a very good view. However the reception did advise that it was only glimpses. No conditioner in the bathroom. Some of the jets in the spa took a long time to function. Not being able to lock the door onto the balcony.

View was spectacular, spa was a definite plus, the room was spacious.

Would have liked a microwave to heat food. No door on the bathroom/toilet was weird to me especially as there is only a blind between bathroom and bed - I have been married to my partner a long time but like my privacy when using the toilet (shower was not an issue, but toilet = privacy needed)
