Service was excellent, place was beautiful as is the area view everything. Rooms had spectacular views and really enjoyed our stay.. the restaurant and bar were the best.

the only problem we had was the bathroom (bath and overhead shower outdated but not functional especially for my aged parents had trouble getting in and out as had to hop into spa bath to shower and the sliding door came off and landed on my mothers foot.. I mentioned to staff when leaving and no response from that particular staff member. I am not inclined to make complaints but for a 4 star facility this should not happen.

Staff were extremely friendly & very helpful sharing recommendations for places to eat & things to see. Room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, lovely hot shower & all the necessities. Grounds were magnificent tropical gardens. Location was great with hotel next door & within walking distance to shops & other eateries etc.

Steep walk up to street from lower room was a little awkward with my limited mobility however not a big issue as I could drive up & park at street level.

The location is great and we had ready access to shops; enjoyed the breakfasts at 'The Edge' and dinners in the restaurants. Staff members very hospitable and helpful. There is ample and very accessible parking with no vehicle exhausts near the rooms. We had an upstairs suite and enjoyed the view and breezes; including from the balcony. The room was spacious and very clean and the bathroom, shower/toilet area is also quite large, clean and well maintained.

Found all the creature comforts there and suitably maintained. So unfortunately we cannot offer any opportunities for improvement.

The room was spacious and comfortable. Pleased with the size. Very helpful and friendly staff. I left a few items behind by mistake, and Tanya was exceptional in helping return them (even offering to meet me closer to where we were then staying). Great location and our room was very quiet. Montville is a beautiful place and the room was lovely with the brick wall.

The bed was like being on a trampoline - very bouncy (when one person moved the other bounced). The balcony was one long one shared by all the rooms, which was a bit weird if someone walked past and they can look into your room).

Location was excellent! Right next to the pub and the shopping/restaurant strip. Also just across the road from the monthly market that's on. Only 30 mins to get to Eumundi Markets, and we liked having a set carpark for when we returned. Staff were friendly and rooms perfect for a few nights. Also a lovely view from the balcony and the grounds were stunning, lots of trees and greenery.

Nothing major, the bathroom was a little dirty (mainly hairs in the sink, on the floor, dead spider etc) and when the heater was on it would cut out and start up again a minute later really loudly, which was startling when trying to sleep. Ended up using the fan setting on the unit the second night and that was better. But that's being picky, we really enjoyed and loved our stay here.

Location is fantastic. Staff were great. Room -clean and comfortable and had everything we needed, including wine glasses lol We stayed for a girls weekend. The weather was appalling, but our room was ready early and we were met by a very helpful gentleman with umbrellas. Such a nice start. The pub is next door (meals are delicious) and only a stroll down the street to the village shops. The room was large, and clean - great for 3 ladies and all our stuff. We enjoyed staying here and will be back!

The best thing was the moment I went inside the room . The cleanliness and how great was the smell in the room were the best things. I also loved the tennis court and the beds.

The only problematic thing was the smart tv. They said we could see Netflix via sharing content from our devices but it did not work at all. Staff offered some hdmi cable though but that would mean I wouldn’t be able to use my phone while sharing the content, so decided against it.

Despite being an older motel, the room was spacious, very clean, comfortable, the lounge could do with updating but was clean and comfortable, bed was good, staff were great and helpful. I was in the bottom tier, closest to the pool but at the bottom of a steep slope. I don't walk as well as I used to but I found it quite manageable. Very handy hints for good places to eat. Warm at night and cool during the day which was just right. Highly recommend and I am likely to be a return visitor.

Nothing that could immediately be fixed and nothing that I couldn't live with.

The location was great and the service good. Very hospitable and friendly staff. Montville Bar and Grill right next door which was convenient.

I can only speak for midweek stay. Most shops did not open their doors till 10am. And closed early round 2-4pm. Just a couple of venues for dinner to choose from which was disappointing. Montville used to be a buzzing little township of Arts and Crafts to visit. So sad to see it losing its pizzazz!

We were expecting accommodation that looked somewhat dated: the online property photos accurately represent the 'age' of the property. However were surprised at how clean and well maintained the rooms and property overall were. Hot shower. Comfortable beds. Air conditioning effective. Small but adequate kitchenette with fridge, microwave, jug and plates/cutlery. Also surprised at the 'resort' style facilities at the rear of the property: beautifully maintained gardens, pool and tennis court. It was more than adequate for our one night stay and very comfortable.

Noise carries from outside hence road noise. Also guests staying a few doors down sat outside talking and we could hear them even with everything closed up and AC on (we had a room looking onto Main Street).
