The location and the view was spectacular. Waking up in the morning to the beautiful sunrise and light filling the lounge area was stunning. I really appreciated the decor and features that were calming and homey. The location across from the surf club and surfing beaches was a highlight, and plenty of nice coffee shops and food options around. Was a nice easy walk to Mooloolaba for bars and restaurants, or Maroochydore for the plaza.

I didn't like not having the access code for Wifi for a couple of days, but as soon as I raised it with staff it was promptly corrected. The TV access was a bit hit and miss at times, with trouble accessing Foxtel services.

Great location with the beach across the road. Fantastic eateries around, especially Milk and Beans! Parking was easy and secure. There's a neat park next to the hotel with a big pond which makes a nice morning or afternoon walk. Laundry services were handy and they had towels available for the beach if needed.

We had heavy rain one night which meant the balcony flooded, however, the biggest issue was the carpark has aircon units which leak onto the drive. Beware, as this is VERY slippery. I had a massive fall going down to the car with the bags on checkout. You really need to put something down over this.

Alex Seaside was the perfect location for our family to base ourselves for our son’s Winterfest Soccer carnival. The views were magic, walking distance to restaurants and full kitchen and laundry for feeding growing boys and cleaning dirty soccer uniforms! It was beautiful to wake up and see the ocean from bed! We had plenty of space the unit was great size and clean. Looking forward to coming back next year!

Units are a bit tired needs a lick of paint - hear this is happening soon though.

From the moment we arrived we knew we were going to love this place. Greeted by Ross and Kay as if we had been friends for a long time. The location was perfect and so was our view. We were given an upgrade to a room with a sea view and , despite the busy road, we slept like babies. Everywhere was so clean and tidy and we spoke with a few people who were return visitors. We too will be back if we can.

We found the property to be awesome. It's a great location, we had fabulous views out to the ocean, the kitchen had everything you could possibly need and it was spacious enough that we weren't on top of each other. I would definitely book here again.

Only downside was they didn't appear able to change the bed to a double in the room that was set for twin. Maybe if I'd requested earlier they could have. Also, there was painting taking place during our stay, so scaffold etc., but I imagine this is just a plus for those staying down the track.

The location is incredible! You can’t beat that view!! The room was beautifully clean and bed and pillows were comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with everything you need. The washer and dryer is a great bonus for families travelling.

Not much! The only fault I could pick, would be the car parking. The spaces are very tight and our space had a luggage box on the wall, so it made for a tricky park. We have a large car but even a small car would have issues getting into that parking space.

The room was excellent The staff were amazing, and their pre arrival communication was perfect. The view from the higher rooms would have been amazing, or level 2 suite view left a little to be desired, but you could see enough to know you were at the coast. The location is second to none, right across the road from the beach, great food places within walking distance, 5 minute drive to your usual take away shops, 6 or 7 minutes to Sunshine plaza on the same road. The staff were exceptional

The car park, though ample and only just high enough for our 4wd with a roof rack, it smelt very musty and stale, almost nauseating, a couple exhaust fans would fix it with absolutely no problems. If that's the only thing we didn't like, then it is a great place to stay

Excellent location close to restaurants. Maloolabar just a 15 walk Maroochydore 25 minute walk. Across the road to the sea and surf club. Older property but our unit was very good. Pool etc very good. Would recommend. We had a great stay.

If you find traffic noise annoying then probably not the place for you. We needed to shut the sliding doors to have some quiet time. However not a bigee for us.

We were there off-season with a great rate, the room with separate bedroom and bathroom were fantastic, ground floor with the pool right in front of us. Staff were very cheerful and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend to everyone. We are staying again next time.

Only concern was the key fob for the security gate to the underground garage - the sign says to present card but it's actually the fob it's on which has to physically touch the pad for it to open, so "scratch anxiety" may be an issue for new-car drivers edging close enough.

Great location which allowed us to make use of the local eateries, the room was east facing which allowed us breathtaking views of the sunrise - the room itself was well set up, clean and large enough for a 3 night stay. We actually didnt see the staff as we arrived after reception closed but this was not an issue as we received a text advising of the room and entry details. On site parking is provided, lots of great places to eat and drink within easy walking distance
