Spacious and all the furniture and beds were very comfortable. Good shower pressure. Air con was excellent and whisper quiet. Very well equipped kitchen. Appreciated the dishwasher sachet and small toiletries in bathrooms to get us through the first day/night. Good block out blinds. Plenty of powerpoints and wardrobe space. Nice to have a bath. Could walk to beach, shops and eating out. Didn't use the pool but it looked nice.

Stairs were a bit tricky for one in our group - an oversight on my part when booking. Lift was too far away to be helpful. While overall apartment was clean, some areas need attention as they were very dusty - skirting boards in bedrooms, bottom of cupboard with ironing board/broom.

Being an older building, the apartment is spacious. It has been refurbished, so is up to date, with all kitchen facilities. There is even a leather lounge suite in the large living room. The bathroom/laundry has been refurbished. There is a dual function shower, and I eventually managed to work out the switch to the rain shower. Thick white towels and even a face washer make up a big plus for me. A separate toilet is good for couples. The managers are friendly and helpful people. Underground parking with lift access was great in the rain. Apartment 23 does have a view of a patch of sea, rather than the high rise building across the access street.

I was a little disappointed that the described “beachfront” location is across the main, divided road between Maroochydore and Mooloolaba. It is not as easy to access the beach as one would think from the description. Because I didn’t check the map, I had expected it to be across from the main Maroochydore surf beach, which is patrolled.

Very spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with lift, with swimming pool, spa , mini tennis court and a pool table. A great location for family as it’s just across the road from the beach. Many good cafes and restaurants to choose from.

The spa wasn’t working on our 1st day but was fixed the next day, however it’s the same temperature as the heated pool, not really a spa. The dryer was also broken, only realised after we did our washing, luck there were plenty of airer.

location was fantastic, close to the beach and walking distance to food options. we only used the pool and spa and can report they were in good condition and enjoyed our time utilising the facilities. good size apartment for 6 adults plus a piece of small luggage. quiet complex, didn't hear any of the other guests.

the apartment had normal wear and tear. There were simple things missing or broken that sound petty, but are noticable like no ice tray in the freezer or loose toilet seat.

Location and unit size perfect. Facilities great. Would stay again but only in cooler weather. Unit was beautifully presented and maintained. Manager absolutely fantastic. Pool beautiful. Clean. Large unit. Had washer dryer. 2 bathrooms.

Only an aircon in loungeroom. None in bedrooms which at 32° in march was sweltering for kids. Baby couldn't sleep due to heat. And we are from nth qld so used to hotter heat but couldn't get comfortable temp in unit. Mop but no bucket. Vacuum attachments but no vacuum. Sadly lack of aircon a downside if you need to close bedroom doors so you can't get an airflow.

The managers at Kalua are awesome people. So welcoming and accommodating. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Comfy bed, huge open living & kitchen area. The whole place is really beautiful, gardens are well kept. Lots of outdoor spaces to relax. The pool is clean and has lots of sunloungers. Tennis court is great with a b-ball hoop. Lots of great places to eat within walking distance same with the beach. Didn't want to leave and we be back for sure.

The location was great, the beach is across the road. It is a busy 2 lane road so care is needed. There are a large range of shops and facilities about 15 min walk away. We liked the pool, the garden and outdoor areas. Our apartment was clean, with all basic facilities. I am very grateful for the washing machine. Well equipped kitchen. It was a nice layout and a great little balcony. We were lucky to have a sea view. All staff and residents were all really nice and helpful. If in the area we will definitely stay again.

Not an issue for us, but there is no lift. So beware if you have heavy luggage. Welcome pack is good, but if staying a few days then you might need more supplies.

For a 3-4 star place it was great. A great place for a large family. Kids loved the pool. Had 2 rooms, one on the ground floor, the other on level 3 too many stairs for my liking (sore knee), thou I had no reason to visit them, as they came down to us. Lovely staff, very helpful and quickly addressed our needs prior to arriving. Would stay there again.

The location is great. Mooloolaba is only 5 mins bus ride away and the Sunshine Plaza is about a 10 minute bus ride. There is a bus-stop about 200m away and the public transport system is fantastic. Buses run every 15 minutes. The hosts Mariska and Taze are lovely and we met a couple James and Lindy who are buyin the Management from Mariska and Taze and they are/will be amazing. The apartment was on the ground floor which was lovely as the pool was only a few metres away. All the guests were very respectful of noise and there is no swimming after 9pm. Will definitely come back.

Fabulous location on the boarder of Alexandra Headland and Maroochydore. I was able to check in a couple of hours early which is always appreciated. Car was secure in the carpark. The pool was cleaned daily, the gardens and grounds are beautiful. The apartment itself is a little old but everything was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all the ammenities needed to cook basic meals. The apartment was huge and the outlook was beautiful being able to see the water from the living area. Showers had great water pressure and lots of hot water.
