Beautifully spacious and clean cabin with a lovely view. Excellent hosts and a perfect spot to stay and explore nearby Monteville.

Firstly we were greeted by Gary when we pulled into the driveway amongst the beautiful trees. What a delightful friendly man who certainly suits the host position. He then organised for Madonna to supply and escort us with our keys for each cabin and settle us in. The rooms were spotlessly clean, beds were extremely comfortable and the showers were great. Overall they were the perfect hosts.

As our hosts had only just begun their resort journey a few days before our arrival they explained that there is a lot of work outside to be accomplished but upon inspecting the property we could see the potential once the gardens and pool area are completed as it’s a perfect quiet location to relax and chill within close proximity to cafes etc. Perfect atmosphere.

Great bush location, well appointed cabin, nice and quiet, abundant wildlife, frog symphony in the evening, great vegetation. Very helpful manager.

Not things we didn't like, but suggestions for enhancement for future - - a broom to sweep inside, and a brush & pan - an ironing board (there was an iron, but no-where to use it) - somewhere to hang up the teatowel - an additional cutting knife - smaller (there was one large knife)

We spent four nights here and liked it a lot. The two bedroom unit was a generous size with good bathroom and handy kitchenette. There was a laundry next to the pool area which we didn't use but it's good to know this was available if we had needed it.

Trees and pools really don't go well together. The pool had leaves (and bugs) constantly falling into it. The auto pool cleaner seemed to have its work cut out for it trying to stay on top of it. Also the pool depths were not marked (that I could see) and the steep and deep part went deep really quickly. Kids need to have a parent in the water and nearby them in this pool.

The location was amazing. Secluded, peaceful and an amazing feel of nature. The cabin was tidy, well equipped and had a homely feel. The owners were new to the place, but welcomed us and was able to give us information about what and where to go. Would have liked the gas fireplace to work, but that was one thing they did say they would be working on. Would definitely go back again.

Easy to follow map, road in and out was easy. The kitchen was fully equipped. The bathrooms were clean and fully stocked with the things you’d need. Extra blankets were supplied. The apartment had aircon, fans and big windows for open air and light.

The room we stayed in had a very stained couch, I didn’t really want to sit on it. The bed sheets were also a little stained/ scratchy and uncomfortable to sleep in. The apartment wasn’t very private and you could see straight through the glass in the front door/ all the windows at that front where other guests would be walking through to get to their own appartments, not good for some one who’s working away where equipment may be visible to the public that they need to travel with. Also would not suggest taking a large vehicle in there as the car parks are not designed for large 4x4 vehicle lengths. (Park up at the reception if you have a large vehicle) Theres not a lot of turning space I had to do an Austin powers move to manoeuvre my car in and out of the parking areas

Big 5 bedrooms home great for dual family living. Open plan kitchen/family room. House placed in a nice tropical garden, well maintained. Well appointed kitchen. Good water pressure in the shower. Big terrace and patio with bbq.

A second TV in the 5th bedroom would have been nice, away from kids and their parents at night. Also a coffee maker machine would have been appreciated. The second toilet door was faulty and couldn’t be closed. Bedroom windows could not be opened to let the fresh air in. Terrace needed a good clean. No aircon in the bedrooms, only in the living area. The night was very cold, 11 degrees Celsius and we were cold in the bed.

Loved our stay at koala cabins. Gary and his staff are very friendly and welcoming. Recommend this place and will stay here again. The aesthetic of the cabin was lovely and the lighting in the room was great.

The owner was lovely. Its in a great location.

I booked a two bedroom as we have kids that needed separate beds but ended up with 1 bedroom, and the kids had to share a pull out couch, so there was no where to sit as the couch was a bed.

great contact prior to arrival. Ease of checkin. cabins were clean, comfy and very relaxing in a rainforest setting with numerous wildlife in close surrounds. Easy to find and within close driving distance to various villages and waterfalls/rainforest walks etc. bed was comfy,and pretty much blackout for late sleepers.

Wifi was a bit hit and miss
