Our stay at Narrows Escape was pure perfection! The service was beyond exceptional—we were treated to complimentary champagne, chocolates, roses, cheese, and freshly baked croissants every morning. They even offered personal drives into town and on excursions, making our stay effortless, luxurious and well worth it. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, and the hospitality was truly five-star. Montville is also a really cute little town with good restaurants and services, would come back!

Bed is almost too soft/spongy

Rainforest location on a creek- feels secluded but easy drive into Montville and owner will drive you to Kondalilla Falls so you can do the track as a one-way. But you really won’t want to leave- the breakfast basket, bacon, eggs, professional espresso machine, cheese plate, port, fresh baked croissants in the morning. Has a little creek walk and birds and possum came to visit our balcony. Thank you Ali and Xochi.

The place was amazing and exceeded all my expectations. Our hosts Ali and Xochi couldn't do enough for us, providing recommendations for sightseeing and dining, amongst many other things. It was a shame that the weather wasn't cold enough to light the fireplace !

There was nothing that could be improved from our perspective. Narrows Escape Rainforest Retreat exceeded all of our expectations.

My husband and l loved everything about this unique & special place. I have long dreamt of spending a quiet couple of nights in a rustic cabin nestled amongst trees, with a wood fire crackling gently in the background whilst we sought peace & solitude from the outside world.. Narrow Escapes well & truly delivered on this, and far exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail is also second to none (ie, fresh roses, complimentary basket of goodies, warm croissants delivered fresh each morning, even birdseed & complimentary port & cheese platter!). One of our favourite things to do was to lay in the hammock on our private little balcony and watch the various specious of birds pay a visit to the birdfeeder hanging amongst the trees nearby. As a local couple with a hectic lifestyle, this was a perfect remedy………, we left this gem of a place feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, & pampered, with plans to return to our little cabin in the rainforest at dome point in the near future 😁

Nothing, we loved it all.

The location is utterly incredible. Surrounded by rainforest, with native birds visiting, and a creek trickling by the doorstep, this is a tiny slice of private paradise. We stayed for 5 nights for our honeymoon, and I cannot fault the service and amenities. Breakfast hampers are well-stocked with a variety of local produce (and you can always request a top-up if you run out of something), and there are fresh warm croissants delivered every morning. There is also a complimentary decanter of very nice port that we enjoyed by our fireplace. This place is perfection. We have already decided to return for our one-year wedding anniversary. Xochi and Ali are impeccable hosts, and we honestly cannot wait to visit again.

There is honestly not much to improve! Xochi and Ali are wonderful hosts, and you can see and feel the love they put into the place. My only tiny picky complaint is that the kitchenette needs a better light (especially for night-time cooking), but we solved that by getting a lamp and moving it to the kitchen. Otherwise, everything is impeccably thought-out and considered. Absolutely a 5-star place to visit!

The location was excellent, the cabin was well fitted out and equipped with everything needed for a great weekend. Very quite location with wildlife on the veranda. The hosts were great with plenty of information and any assistance needed, the fresh croissants each morning were a lovely treat to add to the great location.

Nothing, everything was great . You could not have asked for anything better. A perfect weekend away for our anniversary.

The cabins were exceptional. They were clean, comfortable, quiet and the location was unbelievable. The bird feeders were brilliant and the beautiful birds and the duck who came to visit were amazing. Fresh croissants each morning, the breakfast hamper, fresh eggs, fresh juice and milk. Could not be happier.

The location, the serenity, the privacy, romantic atmosphere, the thoughtful gestures like a welcome note and chocolates on the bed, the beautiful hamper of locally sourced food, the information given about surrounding restaurants and cafes, the parrots you can hand feed, the fireplace and spa bath in the lounge room, the bed was so comfortable, the port was so enjoyable, the deck with the bbq and hammock, the cheese platter was divine and The thunderstorm was awesome!

The pool and it’s surrounding garden desperately needed some maintenance so couldn’t swim.

The service was amazing, and all the extras and little details were so amazing and unexpected. Beautiful location with so many birds and woodfire, breakfast basket, cheese platter, nachos dinner, and spa were amazing and well worth the cost. Nearby walks and lake are perfect for a little time outmontville, and maleny were great for an adventure.

Atmosphere was pure bliss, beautiful aroma and music upon entry to our cabin. Welcome basket and knowing we had options for food if needed was excellent. The provided bird seed to attract the local birds was an EXCELLENT touch.

That they unfortunately haven't had much needed rain to keep the nearby stream active, I will be filing a complaint with mother nature...
