I decided on that spur of the moment thing, to take ny Hubby to Maleny yes we were lucky enough to get our accommodation.(Easter long weekend) The communication on self check in was on point. The Vlila was absolutely stunning very clean, everything you want or need gorgeous running water river view's off your balcony spa bath with a view walking distance to everything in central Maleny . Oh and the complimentary local sour dough and local butter and milk provided in your Accommodation was very welcoming.

The villa was super quiet, comfortable and spacious with a balcony that was private and over looked a pretty, treelined creek. It was an easy walk to the shops, cafes and restaurants. Even though we didn't opt for breakfast to be included, there was a welcome basket that included a loaf of sour dough, some local butter, vegemite, jam, cookies and some milk and yoghurt in the fridge as well as tea and coffee pods. The staff were really friendly and helpful too.

There was no hotplate in the kitchenette (we gave this feedback and they said they'll look into supplying the units with one) so we cooked on the bbq without realising there was a cleaning fee. Apparently it was written in the folder but I didn't read it. Other than that the place was fantastic

The location was quite private, with the rear deck perched amongst the rainforest trees, and the front of each accomodation pod hidden by the tall neatly pruned hedge. For this trip we opted not to lug all and sundry with us as there was an ample selection of grocery stores, cafes and pub.. within easy walking distance. We find the eclectic, casual vibe of Maleny quite appealing, particularly in the cooler months, and so we will be back!

These elevated apartment pods have solid foundations, but cross bracing on the galvanised vertical supports have been engineered to allow movement, and so our sliding robe doors rattled a little when walking around the unit. A neatly folded cloth wedged in the right spot soon fixed this.

Perfect location, super easy walk to all shop and restaurants, which is perfect on the weekends because it’s super hard to get parking in town on Saturdays and Sundays. Very comfortable bed!

Wifi was very poor during our stay, we could connect to it but it was way to slow to use for any form of streaming, but this may have been due to work being done during our stay, and you get a bit of road noise.

Very comfortable bed. Nice to have a real bath and a lovely outlook from the balcony. Great location, close to town but peaceful. One of us had a really great therapeutic massage and the other blissed out for an hour of yoga at the Getaway.

Internet was occasionally slow. Bedroom opened directly to bathroom. Cooking facilities limited (couldn't cook pasta without bothering hosts).

I stayed at the accommodation with my son and his family, it was fabulous the view from the chalet was beautiful - very tranquil. The hosts went out of their way to make sure we had a memorable stay-we roasted marshmallows on an open fire that was timed to perfection, We will certainly be returning for a longer stay.

The one and only thing I can complain about was I didn't sleep very well because I was on a sofa bed- on second thoughts it was because I slept with a grandchild, the sofa bed was comfy lol

Location, comfort, deck, BBQ and view. All very pleasing. I found it all relaxing. A lovely villa complex next to a flowing creek (Obi Obi) with lots of wildlife. Quiet. Clean. Cozy. Sound value for money. I’ll probably be back in the future.

Breakfast was rather basic. Not really worth paying for (it was complementary on the first morning, but no doubt it contributes to a slightly higher accommodation rate). Would recommend either a more significant complementary breakfast (not just forgettable sourdough, jam and yogurt), or revert back to cheaper rate with no breakfast provided (which I think was the status during the previous two times I stayed here; most recently in Oct 2022.). Coffee was pod-only (why?) and the pod coffee machine produced cold-to-tepid coffee at best. Not a good way to start the day. Coffee pods are inefficient and less sustainable than other methods (create a relatively large amount of waste). We were only given 5 pods for two people for two days. Three of the five pods were decaffeinated.

Location was fab and not to far a walk to the main streer, scenery was superb

Excellent location in relation to the township and backs onto the Obi river which made for pretty views. Room was well provisioned and continental breakfast incldued a lovely touch. Bed was very comfortable. The owners were very friendly and helpful. They offer a transfer service as there is very little available in the way of public transport options to get to restaurants. We made use of the spa in our room.

Nothing we didnt like. Was a gem we only discovered at the last minute.

The location on the creek and a short walk from town was the perfect balance between relaxation and activity. Barb and Greg were such kind and responsive hosts, quickly responding to any requests, and providing our youngest child with a large set of Duplo to play with.

Not a fault of the property at all, but our family of four would have benefited from a larger space for our three night stay.
