We had a really comfortable stay here with our dog, in a pet friendly room. Friendly, helpful service and easy check in after driving all day. Good sized room and plenty of area to walk the dog.Breakfast room is available if needed and fridge in room had milk for coffee and a couple bottles of water. Tea, coffee and biscuits are available in room. Parking out the front of the room and theres a discount on fuel at the Ampol service station if you stay here. We had a really nice stay, had the best pizza for dinner in town and I would definitely stay here again.

There were no negatives for us at The Mud Hut Motel.

The hotel is conveniently located. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are comfortable. Lovely rammed earth walls give the place plenty of character. A small breakfast is a nice bonus. The stuff was very friendly and accommodating.

The territory of the hotel is fenced but the gate does not close for the night. We were a bit concerned about leaving a fully loaded 4wd with camping gear on the roof over night. On saying that nothing happened.

This motel is located close to most major attractions in Coober pedy. There are service stations, restaurants, and one supermarket nearby. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy. There was good hot water and room heating with parking space provided right in front.

Water was leaking from the side of bathroom washbasin on the floor emanating from the hot water tap (while using the water).

Comfortable room, good kitchenette, good position.

Breakfast in a very pleasant dining room was included, however it was simply packaged cereal, fruit juice, instant coffee and tea, no toast. Given the kitchenette facility in room a small collection of bread, condiments, cereal etc in room where a toaster was supplied would have been preferable. Air con required an open window to operate effectively but windows were all locked and no key provided, the wall mounted fan was not operational.

Mike at Front Desk was the best receptionist you could ask for. So helpful and friendly. The Room was big and absolutly clean. I've arrived early in the morning and the team made it possible that I could check in earlier even that the hotel was fully booked. It's nice to get a small complimentary breakfast as well to start the day right. All in all a great Hotel & Team!

In the beginning there was a problem with the aircon but they have fixed it directly when I was outside on a tour. Amazing how fast they fixed it. So this isn't a complain. These technical things can happen and the team was directly so helpful. That matters!

The rooms were clean and cosy as it was cold outside. The price was very reasonable. It was a welcome retreat and it is centrally located.

There were a couple of maintenance issues with our bathroom. We didn’t report these until we checked out because we wanted to sleep in and it didn’t affect our stay. I’m sure they will be rectified as the property is very well maintained.

This hotel is quite clean and the staffs is very Friendly. Our car was broken down when we up to north and had to cancel the booking, the staff agreed with the cancellation. When we got the car fixed and rent another car, we decided to book this hotel again, the staff helped out and prepared for the late check in. We found this place clean, quiet and the facilities were quite good. Highly recommendation.

Great location at the top of town and opposite the Outback Bar and Grill, good food and beer. The room was spotless, very well appointed and maintained. It was exceptionally comfortable. The complimentary light breakfast was appreciated.

There was no internet access. Apparently a replacement router was awaited. Fortunately the Outback Bar and Grill provided Wifi internet.

The location. The ease of checking in after hours. We arrived late in the evening and the instructions were promptly text to cell phone prior to arrival and were easy to understand. Friendly customer service.

Parking outside rooms could be better. The shower went cold part way through and there are no PowerPoints beside the beds.

Convenient and very clean. I’ve stayed in Coober Pedy 6 times and aside from a super cute b&b this rates as the best accommodation so far. I travelled with my dog and there was no issues whatsoever.

Even though I had an allocated parking space right outside my door I couldn’t use it because a guest in another room was allocated one that crossed over mine.
