I stayed here a month ago and was happy to return. The room met my needs, the bed was comfortable and the restaurant is an added bonus. Last visit I ordered takeaway but this time I attended the Bistro and took advantage of the guests complimentary beverage as well as the 15% discount on my meal, which was a solid 9/10.

The check in desk was unattended, the door locked and I did a lap of the building before locating the front bar, where the lovely attendant dealt with my check in and handed me my key. No real complaints though.

Great underground room. Well ventilated and not stuffy at all. Hotel is in a great location on the Main Street. Room had internet, fridge, kettle etc. Very quiet underground.

Other guests had carved their names into the natural stone walls. Given part of the room was still part of the original hand hewn wall I thought that was a bit disrespectful. No complaints about the hotel at all.

Have stayed before, was very good. Food, drinks etc available on-site and facilities close. Parking outside room, secure enough.

This time there was zero water or pressure in shower... tried 3x in morning and even took a video. Water is/was obviously an issue there as the toilet also flushed very dirty brown water- poor cleaners but at least no smell! Other than being hot from travelling & wanting my shower rather than a wipe, it was okay. Didn't stay again on the way back because of this.

Close clean, the bathroom shower was not working property and the vanity mixer tap was loose. Not too worried but another customer might complain. The locals were a bit noisy but again very hard for you to control. Thank you.

As above the shower rose needs attention and the mixer tap on vanity loose. Everything else was alright.

It was clean, comfortable and spacious.

No toaster, microwave or crockery and cutlery. Whilst received a discount voucher towards our bistro meal and free drink; the meal was unpleasant- over cooked, tough and our vegetables were cold- not worth the discount. Also your website doesn’t mention that this venue is a G’Day parks and as a member I could have received a discount.

Easy access, plenty of rooms

Have stayed here 4 or 5 times before, always been good. Unfortunately this time was in a room behind the offices. Stayed for 2 nights, 1st morning woke by people above at 3.30am, 2nd morning, different people but was woken at 4.30am. In both cases they made noise till they left. Also, wifi is really poor in that location.

We arrived at 8:57pm 3 minutes before the reception closed. The beautiful receptionist was super lovely and amazed we had arrived when I said we would in the email to let them know we were on our way but wouldn’t arrive till late. She was awesome and so friendly even though it ended up being past her knock of time. Thank you.

The whole complex is pretty impressive, much more than what I was expecting! I liked the large dining and bar area, happy hour was a real bonus!

The big tree in the carpark had loads of birds nesting overnight. My car was covered in bird poo in the morning. I spotted the car wash strategically placed over the road.

This was a last-minute booking, as we had car trouble on our way up to Uluru.....needed to book a place for an extra nights stay in Coober Pedy, & this looked like good value for money. As we had to vacate the property we had stayed in the night before, at 10.00am, I requested an early check-in at Opal Inn, to which they obliged with no drama at all. Good central location, with a good onsite restaurant/bistro.

It’s close by the highway and really quiet. The fact you’re getting a discount by a meal and a complimentary drink is awesome. Also you can get breakfast with a discount and a complimentary coffee or tea at another restaurant.

The shower wasn’t that clean, there were hairs around the drain and there was used toilet paper in the toilet
