Edward made sure we were well looked after, comfortable and gave us an excellent run down of the area The underground experience was exactly what we hoped for and a little out of the town so we really felt that we were in the outback The facilities were fantastic having everything you could possibly need including a full kitchen and meals area a nice lounge area and washing facilities

Everything is absolutely sensationalat this property. Edward is an amazing host who likes to have a laugh and he even let my 12yo husky who is shedding a bit of hair into the rooms just not on the furniture which is awesome its so hard to find accommodationthat allows animals these day. I would recommend this place as a must visit whenever in Coober Pedy. We will be staying again on way back home.

Maybe just a suggestion a little gate across the front of the entrance to the patio so animals can be off lead. But that's just for the 4 legged friends

Breakfast was at an additional cost (reasonable charge) however we had our own, The facility is only let to a single booking at a time and looks to be able to accommodate up to 6. Being underground, it was very quiet and secluded and was large enough to be regarded as a small house with all the appropriate furnishings,

The host was very friendly, and very helpful. He went above and beyond our expectations. The Accomodation was lovely with plenty of space and amenities. My little dog was welcomed too which was very important to me.

The only thing that could have been better was maybe more of a choice for breakfast.

An excellent stay at Cooberpedy. Very comfortable underground apartment with multiple bed rooms. All bedrooms, Lounge areas and Kitchen are exceptionally clean and spacious. Fantastic kitchen facilities and Laundry was super. The host Edward is very helpful and caring. Its a super experience living underground and we wished we could have stayed another night here. Small little town with IGA and Opal Shops and museums.. Even the shop owners in the town are very friendly and shared their experiences mining the Opals. Overall a Super stay at Cooberpedy.

Edward was a lovely informative host. Gave a wonderful run down on Coober Pedy and the surrounding area. Wanted to make our stay as great as possible. Was also very generous in including a bottle of wine of our choice and inclusive breakfast. Everything has been carefully thought out. Fantastic shower!

We made an error at booking and the owner was exceptional understanding, helpful and generous. The place we stayed at - an original hand-dug underground apartment - was exceptional and absolutely stunning. I can wholeheartedly recommend staying at Underground B&B. We will certainly stay there again next time we are in Coober Pedy!

The reception by Edward was amazing and he made us feel like home. Hearing from a long time local made the experience well above what we expected. The room, shared living and kitchen are huge and soo comfortable. Best sleep in years!

Edward the owner was an excellent host and informative about Coober Pedy. Very clean and comfortable room. We will definitely underground B&B breakfast in our next visit to Coober Pedy with my family. Excellent living standards. Thank you Edward for making our stay very comfortable as seniors. 👌👌😊

Genuinely underground, not 5 star but genuinely good value, fantastic host and left us without anything we needed. Edward and his 4 legged dog assistants were so helpful without being “ in our face”. Would we. Recommend- YES without hesitation. We both loved and felt really comfortable just far enough out of town centre.
