The location was very central to the main street containing the shops and eateries. A short walk to The Nut. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The ensuite was also of a very high standard with a large shower. The continental breakfast was laid out in the owners kitchen and had a good selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, bread and conserves. Rhonda was a welcoming host and nothing was too much trouble. I would certainly stay there again when in Stanley.
There were three remotes for the television and dvd player. Although it was not a smart tv, one remote had Netflix and other streaming channel buttons, but there were no instructions on how to access them. A small quibble as overall we had a lovely stay.

We had booked and paid for Noah's Stanley Luxury B&B and was contacted by the hosts the day before arriving, and offered an upgrade to stay at The Ark in Stanley, a larger accommodation they owned. We had a cooked breakfast as well as the continental breakfast. Homemade bread and yoghurt with preserved apricots and rhubarb were yum! Hosts were very hospitable and have done a great job in renovating an old 1920s home to the above average B&B that The Ark is today. Bed very comfortable. Room beautiful as was the bathroom. Couldn't have asked for anything better. The historical walk through Stanley was interesting, with lots of cute little cottages from the 1800s and meals were all within walking distance.

We actually ended up staying at the "sister" accommodation. The Arc. The location was excellent with a sea view, walking distance to the famous Hursey seafood restaurant. A five-minute drive to the Nut, where one can walk to the top or take a cable car, was most convenient. Rhonda and Christa were efficient and caring hosts, and they cooked us a delicious breakfast each morning. Continental choices of cereal, toast, and homemade jams were complementary. Can highly recommend the Arc Bed and Breakfast for a pleasant 2-night stay in Stanley, Tasmania

Very clean, warm and it actually had a comfortable couch and not one but two chairs for the little writing desk. Such a nice change from other bedsitter rooms we’ve been in.
We understood that there was a shared kitchen. It’s shared with the owners who like to watch game shows on free to air TV in the evenings. If that’s your thing, great. It wasn’t our cup of tea. So we did not stay in the shared areas, but retreated to the bedroom in the evenings. It was spacious enough, warm and lovely.

The whole room was very luxurious and comfortable. The king bed was great and comfortable. Bathroom features a double shower. And perfume is provided plus quality Sukin lotions. Fob entrance from street and then again to room gave you security and independence. There is a door between the hall and hosts living area, where breakfast was served, though you could access this area if needed. Our room had couch and table and small fridge with complimentary Tim tams and Lindt chocolates. Breakfast was left in the kitchen from 7.30 for us to serve ourself when ready. Home made bread, jams, stewed fruit and yoghurt were featured. It is situated directly opposite the pub so very convenient for evening meal.

Our room was lovely with very modern facilities and the bed was so comfortable. The accom was within walking distance to the attractions such as the Little Penguin Viewing Platform and chairlift to the Nut, abt 20mins stroll. We could also use the kitchen facilities of our host. We had continental breakfast with a big assortment of jams to choose from. Streetside parking just beside the accom. Lovely restaurant right across the road.
Nothing much really. Would be superb if there's cooked breakfast.

This was our first bed & breakfast stay ever. The rooms were stunning. My sister and husband had the opposite room and so the entire front of the house was just for us which was nice. The only thing my sister would have liked is a full-length mirror. Not a deal breaker by any means. Oh, the location is brilliant. Wine bar very cool. Pub amazing food. Penguins just down the road and very worth seeing.

The house itself is beautifully decorated and very cozy. The bathroom was incredibly spacious and the bed was super comfortable - I slept like a baby! The location is also great - it's close to everything you need but still feels peaceful and secluded. The best part of the stay, though, was definitely the host. They were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing getaway!

From the moment we arrived the owners, Rhonda and Christer, made us feel extremely welcome. The beautifully renovated property had lovely views of water across the road and the rooms were superb with a modern large bathroom with double shower, underfloor heating, heated towel rail and many other touches. The large bed was very comfortable with electric blanket. The room was very well fitted with everything to make it a comfortable and enjoyable stay, including a large TV, expresso coffee machine in the room, small fridge, chocolates, and biscuits. The position was very close to the town centre so made it easy to walk to shops and dinner. Rhonda cooked a delicious full breakfast in the morning with homemade chutneys etc - it got us through to dinner there was so much of it. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend to anyone.
Nothing, loved it all

The B & B was certainly luxury. Owners we very accommodating. The room was very large, plenty of room and very quiet and peaceful. The bathroom was so modern and very large shower. The pub over the road was great for dinner. Only wish we could have stayed longer.
