Fantastic bed and breakfast in a great location and easy walking distance to everywhere including the beach where the penguins come in at night - we saw more more for free here than we did on a paid trip in Bicheno! The bed was comfortable, the room was nicely furnished including quality products in the bathroom and there was a mini bar in the fridge. It was great to wake up and see such a lovely view of the bay in the morning. Breakfast was very enjoyable with a full cooked option available for no extra cost. Rhonda and Christer were friendly and helpful and we have no hesitation in highly recommending the Ark.

Everything was amazing (we stayed in the Admiral room) including Rhonda and Chris who accommodated all we needed. Breakfast was lovely with both cooked and continental options with special touches. A gorgeous location and beautiful accommodation with everything! Quiet yet close to town that you could walk nearly everywhere. The Golf club had beautiful food and is a must if there Thursday- Saturday and Hurseys was also a fabulous meal. The Providore is an excellent shop where you could buy so much and the locally made cornflake cookies available at the local supermarket were so yum! Smithton was 15 mins down the road with great little shops and the SLSC at Boat harbour bay also had incredible food so is a great lunch option! Thanks again Rhonda & Chris for everything over our three night stay.

Breakfast was delicious with great hosts. A great variety and choice. The room was spacious; it had extra attention to detail both in design and what was provided - as well, it had some elegant and 'fun' pieces to make it feel special. Comfortable bed and great, spacious shower. The location meant easy walking around the pretty and historically interesting village. A memorable place to stay.

All was really well organized and attention to the details. Quality of amenities and level of cleanness.

Probably I'd suggest to improve a little bit the breakfast. The cooked one is amazing, but I would have preferred to find fresh fruits and something sweet to eat. I didn't understand there wasn't a daily cleanness, probably I didn't read appropriately the information by the host (so my fault).

Excellent location, walking distance into town and penguin viewing platform. Enjoyed hosts homemade yogurt and fruit composts for breakfast. Hot breakfast also availablre if advised night before. Great hosts with tips of areas to visit.

Parking area could be a bit of a squeeze at times depending on how many guests staying.

The room we were in was neat, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was just what we wanted. The location was great as we could walk everywhere. It was lovely to meet other travellers as well which we did at breakfast time.

The only thing I would suggest is that the pillows were quite flat and uncomfortable. The rest of the bedding was fine.

Location was spectacular. Breakfast was spectacular. Our suite and its amenities also spectacular. Our hosts just as spectacular.

No biggy….With the extraordinary high level of fit out in our suite, maybe eventually replace current toilet lid with self-closing variety? Kept forgetting it wasnt, causing a large bang sometimes.

This is the perfect accommodation. The rooms are styled perfectly. Even down to the finer details and small touches, everything exceeded expectations. The hosts were the loveliest people and the breakfast was exceptional - the best breakfast we have had on this trip! There is truly nothing better than a home cooked breakfast and Rhonda and her lovely husband delivered this beyond what we would ever have expected. I can say with full honesty this was the best accommodation we stayed at during our honeymoon. We can't wait to return to the beautiful town of Stanley and spend some more time at the Ark Stanley.

Gorgeous property in a fabulous spot with great views and walking distance to shops and restaurants. The home made produce for breakfast was amazing and the hosts lovely and very accommodating

Everything about this accommodation was excellent. Very friendly and helpful owners. Delicious breakfast, beautifully appointed room, very clean. Great location within walking distance to main shopping and restaurants.

Parking was a bit tight but we managed.
