Just love this place, it has character and a great Ceaser salad. I beleive it also has a ghost, though I havent had the pleasure of meeting it yet. Another plus is it is close to the rail trail, and you can charge up your ebike at the hotel.Its also a big plus that it is not expensive to stay. Being a single traveller I appreciate this. I am not a very picky person and am easy to please, however seeing you have asked, it would have been good to have a coffee in the morning, or even just an electric jug in the shower room/toilets or in the hall way. I always carry a cup and coffee satchels so i only need a jug (if you havent guessed, i ride an ebike). You probably should/could leave some doco pointing out that the section between Stony Creek and Foster is , in my opinion the best leg of the entire rail trail. Cant wait til the weather warms up so I can go back again. Can you ask the ghost to make an appearance the next time I am there?

My husband and I were walking the Great Southern Rail Trail, so Fish Creek was one of our overnight stays. It is about 150m off the trail, so very convenient for hikers and cyclists. We had a motel type room out the back of the hotel which was dated, but comfortable and had everything that we needed. Bed was comfortable (but the old wooden light board needs to be removed, as you cant sit up and relax in bed), TV a good size, shower was hot with good pressure. Car park is right outside door, however we didnt use this. We felt safe in the motel and walking around the town. Just one point: the place is haunted. At 4am, our TV unexpectedly turned on for about 1 minute, before just as unexpectedly turning back off again. We were dozing in bed at the time with the remote on the side table, and neither of us turned it on! There are rumours that a spirit walks the main pub, but this happened in the motel room 2. Super weird. We enjoyed our stay here and the pub restaurant food, although not cheap, was very tasty! We would stay here again.

Motel room was a bit dated, but everything was clean and tidy.

Easy check in. Amazing staff. Very nice to have 5 alcohol free beers available in the pub.

Lovely to have plates/bowls etc. but needs washing up liquid and cloth to wash plates. We had a water leak in our bathroom which left water on the floor. There was nothing the staff could do until the handyman could come. This was a little inconvenient as the toilet kept making a filling with water noise overnight.

It is a very convenient location close to Wilsons Prom—excellent food at the restaurant! Accommodation was reasonable considering the cheap price, although the room could benefit from some minor upgrades in the bathroom.

Considering the cost, It was a great place for our hiking group to rest before taking on a 3-day walk around the Prom. The rooms are slightly dated, so would benefit from from refreshed bathrooms, but it's fine for an overnight stay.

Excellent value. Very friendly staff who were willing to store our cold food in the hotel fridge (in the absence of a customer fridge). The evening food in the restaurant was excellent. We enjoyed Caesar Salad, Seafood Linguini, Parmi and Vegan Curry (the latter served with apple sauce!)

It would be great to have communal coffee / tea making facilities. The room was clean with crisp sheets and comfy pillows, but had ancient metal windows with potential to be draughty.

Location was perfect - in relation to the activities we got up to. The room was clean and comfortable, initial reviews had said the rooms need updating but they had everything we needed and I quite enjoyed it - for an older style bathroom the shower pressure was unreal! The little toy fish on the bed was lovely touch. The hotel service food was good value and good flavour. Lovely staff. Would 110% book here again

Couldn’t fault this place

The Art Deco Hotel is beautiful from the outside and well maintained inside. The food is excellent and great value for money. Being Coeliac they were very accommodating. The staff are young and friendly and were very helpful. The accommodation behind the hotel is retro style motel. It could do with updating but it is adequate for purpose and economical in price. It was spotlessly clean. The township is delightful and great little variety of shops.

The rooms are a bit dark.

Being able to upgrade our old style hotel room with shared bathroom for a self contained room for our remaining 2 nights.

We didn't t realise we d booked an older style hotel room without a fridge, jug n cutlery n crockery n needing to use a shared bathroom until we arrived. But after a bustmy booked out Saturday night we upgraded our booking and all was then OK by us. We would ve liked a table n chairs to sit and eat though

A great regional pub which delivers. Set in a beautiful location if offers everything that you would expect from a pub stay. A great bar with pool table, a large dining room with menu that caters for all, local wines to taste and great staff. They were all really friendly. Check in was a breeze Rooms are small and basic but clean. Bathrooms are shared but clean and typical of a pub stay. Note breakfast not provided.

Helpful staff.Stayed in motel room. Room clean. Room old style but I like that retro feel. Bed was comfy. The doona cover was pretty and fresh, nice thick doona. Loved the back door with the grassy view. Love the quaint shops.

The board above the bed with the lights in it. I hit my head several times when getting into bed and also couldn't sit up in bed. Hubby hit his head on the square bits sticking out. Spoiled an otherwise nice room. Ditch it and get a couple of bedside lamps!
