Spacious room, perfect for doing floor exercises; well stocked 'luxury temptations'- wine, pringles, plus a variety of other options; perfectly located to access the centre of town, restaurants, information centre, oval, but was still quiet; approachable staff; both the room air conditioner and fan in the bathroom were very quiet, unobtrusive even. I loved the angel and other sculptures, and the outer seats. Room was adequately warm without the heater, most of the time.

The shower pressure could have been greater. I had messaged ahead asking about shampoo and conditioner and hair dryer. It turns out I didn't need to bring a hair dryer, because the one supplied was perfectly adequate, but I was told there shampoo and conditioner, whereas it was combined: 'conditioning shampoo'. Pretty good anyway. A dishcloth would have been handy, as would a sharp knife.

The room was very clean and the service at check in was great. The amenities were also very clean and the bed was comfortable with features in the room such as a dining table, sofa, T.V (with apps) and a mini bar fridge.

The only criticism was that the bed was a not as firm as desired, but this is purely a personal preference. I can't fault anything else!

The self contained 3 bedroom unit at the Goldsmith is fantastic for families. 3 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen and 2 living area's mean there's a spot for everyone. Split systems in every bedroom ensure everyone is comfortable. Very central location easy to walk to the main street or eateries and close to visit the supermarket if self catering.

Really nothing, you do need to be conscious of shower time in the morning as the only toilet is in the bathroom with the shower, so probably best to ensure everyone has had a chance to use the toilet before starting showers in the morning.

breakfast was fresh and delivered on time. the bathroom was so clean that I complimented them. the shower screen was gleaming! the whole place was lovely and clean. even the driveway and parking area was neat and clean. lovely hanging baskets on the wall. extremely welcoming. short walk to shops and restaurants.

The cleanliness was a big plus from us! The friendly owners and how it was all easy to book. Third time stay here and highly recommend to others! Will return again when heading up this way! Wonderful place, affordable, location fantastic and the owners are so lovely to deal with!

Spotlessly clean and comfortable with loads of extra’s if we wanted them. From the coffee machine to the fresh milk and chocolate.

There was nothing you couldn’t like.

We stayed last November and again on the weekend because we were impressed the first time. We stayed in a Superior Queen room which had a couch, and extra single bed as well as the large bed, and a small table and two chairs. Walking distance to the art gallery and good old fashioned pub ( The Commercial) for dinner. We had a garden view room, very quiet.

It was all good!

An excellent motel with friendly staff always willing to go the extra mile. Close to the city centre, shops, restaurants, the hospital and public transport. Rooms are always clean, comfortable and containing all the amenities you could need.

Super clean rooms and spacious and comfortable accommodation. Family rooms have good facilities such as Netflix, a nice bed, cutleries, coffee machine. Parking available in front of each room.

Check-in time is up to 21:30pm according to Booking.com, however we were called and asked to be there by 6 pm unless we give our bank card number and CVV over the phone and have a self check in in return. The payment was already made online on Booking, but we were still forced to give the card details on the phone to secure the payment. We refused to do so, although we had an argument on the phone and a stressful time until we get to the hotel asap. The receptionist was respectful when we got to hotel, but it was not a nice experience on the phone.

Most comfortable beds on our trip! Very clean rooms, with everything we needed supplied and even a small minibar/snackbar. Kids were upstairs and loved having their own space. Lots of information provided by hosts on where we could eat, where delivers etc which was very handy to make quick decisions when travelling with kids.

Breezeway in to motel could be a little low for anyone traveling with roofracks/things on top of their car - we didn't have that so didn't have any trouble but could be an issue for some. Lots of street parking though if that's an issue.
