We liked that a staff member stayed back and was able to provide us with room keys with the train arriving after 9 pm. The restaurant staff were very helpful with meeting our breakfast needs. Location is very good for exploring Kalgoorlie.

I bit more time to explore this very interesting part of Australia's history and development

It is always difficult to get accommodation in Kalgoorlie, last time we stayed in this town there was only one place available ( and it wasn't brilliant!) so I was delighted when we could get in at the Railway Inn. Only one night was available on the internet but luckily I asked at check in and they were able to give us extra nights.

All was very good

The room was larger than expected. The shower was hot and had really good water pressure. I basically booked hotel accommodation over a private stay, because I wanted air conditioning. The air conditioning was very effective. The bed was very comfortable. There was no audible outside noise.

Would have preferred ground floor accommodation (due to a hip injury) but I had not requested this. I will ask for ground floor accommodation should I return.

Location, easy walking distance to centre of everything. Very clean and comfortable with adequate facilities. Breakfast was average, would have preferred fresh fruit not tinned, but the poached eggs on request were super. Would have liked a dining table and chairs in the room to sit and eat at, as microwave and toaster provided, but no where to sit and eat properly. The staff are all very friendly and helpful.

Didn't like that breakfast was an added extra, this made our 3 night stay very costly compared to other hotels/motels we have stayed at. But the breakfast itself was adequate, usual Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, tomatoes beans etc. Yogurt, fruit (tinned), cerals, fruit juices. Poached eggs on request cooked perfectly 10 out of 10 for them.

Staff were excellent and location was ideal for our purposes.

Whilst value for money is a relative item when comparing regional centres with Perth, charges for overnight stay were not insignificant.

Nice and quite very tidy.

No tspn to stir my coffee, also I suggest add 2 Carton milk cause I drink heaps. There is a microwave but nothing to heat up my food with. All toll very nice stay.

Room was great, large and comfortable. Modern decor and the best shower-head ever! Great way to start and finish the day. The restaurant menu was reasonably varied and the food was excellent.

We had an electrical fault in the room on arrival. The problem was known, as the bed was pulled out from the wall and the power board unplugged, however it had just been left like that by staff. The problem was sorted the next day and all was well.

The room was spacious and had everything I needed, including a desk for me to use my laptop on. Very convenient location for anyone getting the train to Kalgoorlie. The bed was comfortable, the tea-making facilities were better than I usually see and the breakfast was good enough.

The wifi, though not slow, would cut out on my laptop every 10 minutes on the dot. This made it quite annoying to try to watch something live online, though would probably still be fine for netflix etc.

the room was well presented stafff where very helpful very comfortable bed to sleep on.

use to have spa at this hotel many years ago and they did away with it which was dissapointing.

Wonderful team at Reception. So helpful. The room was large and very clean. Wish I had stayed the whole 4 nights, I was in Kalgoorlie, not just 1 night.
