The hotel was great, staff friendly and helpful. The location is superb, close to both nature and civilization. I appreciated that I could open a large French window to air the room. One could also use the A/C which did not turn off once you left the room (I've seen that at other hotels). Free bike rental for guests is and excellent idea, however when not in use the bike seats should be covered because they soak up rain water. the seat looks dry, but the inside is soaked and once you sit on it, water runs out through small holes on the sides. I used the bike to go and see the town centre and only realised this when I got off the bike in the town - my bottom was soaking wet and I looked like I peed my self. That was the only downside of my stay. So I recommend putting a plastic bag over the seat when you use it, even on a sunny day. Otherwise I was very satisfied. My room was on an entrance side of the building, I had a great view of the ruin. I could hear the street when I opened the window but wasn't anything that would disturb me, the street is not that loud I was there on a week day. The mattress was very soft, way too much for my liking, no back support really, but I was so tired that I slept like baby anyway. And the breakfast was excellent! I have never seen so much choice for vegetarians. And having eggs done any style you wish is just top.

The mattresses could be a bit harder. They were very soft with no back support. I could do one night but probably couldn't do more than that. The shower door was leaking in the corner. Could (and SHOULD) be probably fixed with some silicone. It`s not very pleasant when after your shower you have to step on wet bath mat. A health risk as well. The toilet bowl wax veeery low. I have never seen anything like it. Great for kids but I can imagine and older person would have difficulties getting up. I missed a coffee/tea making equipment in the room. That should be a standard in a **** hotel.

extra friendly staff, room design. toilet facility was build as addendum to the bathroom with two soudproof doors between the room and toilet. never seen it in a hotel. such a clever design. hotel furniture at the lobby was all Vienna vintage style, very chick. Surroundings were all luxurious villas and overlooking hotel was magnificent cliff.

The little amenities, like bathrobe and slippers, cozy bed. The building is beautiful, and the decor was charming. Lovely location next to a park and castle ruins. Decent Austrian style breakfast, yogurt, cereals, antipasti, spreads, and the highlight was that it was available until noon. Eggs made fresh to order.

The bar closes earlier than advertised (I was told 8 pm), the restaurant was closed on the second day of my stay. The hotel website advertised an amazing breakfast, including hot dishes, with potatoes and pancakes, etc. But eggs were the only thing warm dish available, and there was no breakfast menu on hand. The breakfast server was overwhelmed so the buffet wasn't stocked regularly, like the cheese and bread.

Friendly helpful staff, spacious room with a nice view of the castle,, free parking, excellent breakfast with a wide selection of everything you could think of, free sauna, big tv screen. Reasonable price for what you get. We'll be back, most probably.

Somewhat far from the city center, so you need a car to go around or get to the thermal spa. Our room was in the 3rd floor, and the slanted ceiling over the bed was somewhat disturbing. None of the above was a big issue anyway. Did not affect the overall experience which was really very pleasant.

A beautiful hotel near Baden. The apartment with balcony was good, but it is good to note that not all rooms have air conditioning in case of warm weather. The restaurant and breakfast were very good and the customer service was very friendly.

Extremely warm and comfortable. Lovely bedroom and very comfortable bed. Nice quality bedding and towels. Lovely restaurant for dinner and a fabulous breakfast with a great choice included in the room rate. Doggy friendly. 10/10

The rooms in the old part of the building do not have air conditioning, but for us it was not a big problem.

could be more cleaner especially in the room. one of the family who stayed brought their dog to the breakfast and sat next to us. the dog was restless constantly coming to us, it was a bit disturbing.

Almost everything

The clerk in the evening shift informed us that we get two identical Rooms next to each other. Both are not true. She seemed not knowing the rooms of the hotel. Besides. At 4 stars hotel shouldn’t be someone awake at night shift?

Absolutely fantastic location, facilities and super friendly staff.

I was a little bit disappointed that only 1 day of housekeeping was provided, the lack of glasses/water in the room and the cost of drinks that went with this.
