The location directly into the old town of Salzburg, Aldstat was perfect. We were there for one sunny and three rainy days and could just step out the door and wander between showers. We bought our Salzburg card so that we had museum and funicular easy access. We were upgraded to a quadruple room which was delightful for the two of us but might have felt a light tight for four adults. The breakfast was a lovely buffet that was included. The hotel is a very clean, very calm place to stay. We really enjoyed every minute of our time, and highly recommend this area of Salzburg in the rain! Fewer crowds and lovely, cozy places to eat and visit. Don't miss the quirky museums up at the fortress.

We would have liked a more detailed map of just the Alstad, old town area. It's a challenging area to get around and understand just on the phone.

Rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast and Dinner for half board was of good quality, though my main (cod) was overcooked. Location is about 5 mins walk from the bus stop about 45 mins from Innsbruck city. It’s not on the main road but on an inner road. Not many amenities around the area except for a ski rental shop and some cafes, Otherwise it’s a really nice family run hotel.

The only thing we did not like was that before checkout, a guy just walked into the room and helped with the TV audio to English. Kinda strange just to have this 30’mins prior to checkout. He probably knocked but just let himself into the room so it took all of us by surprise in the middle of rushed packing.

Very comfortable all around. Ample parking, amenities are top quality, staff is attentive and professional. Breakfast and dinner daily were delicious with a huge selection. Nice wine list as well. The spa amenities were beautiful and well cared for. The pride of ownership and service is evident in every aspect of this family hotel.

After staying for more than a week, it became obvious that the cleaning crew did not clean the floors on our room.

Everything was impeccable. The staff was exceptionally nice, ready to help, respectful and polite, and had good training. The SPA zone was really incredible, better than advertised, everything was clean and smelled nice, and the pools were fantastic, just what you need after a long ski day. Food was delicious, new perspectives on traditional food, everything was fresh, you had many options every day: breakfast options were plentiful, and dinner was always something new. Rooms were very clean and large. Heated room for ski storage and ski boot drying. Parking lot was spacious. 30-min ride by bus to Stubaier Gletscher (free), and also close is Schlick 2000 (more adequate for beginners). One of the best ski trips you'll ever have.

Perfect stay for hikers - the hotel located in a prime location in the stubai valley, with easy accessibility and information about all of the amazing trails. It encourages you to go and explore by providing a free hiking bag and polls, the stubai valley super card and daily suggestions for hiking trips. The Spa area is gorgeous and provides a wonderful relaxation experience after a long day of hiking. The cuisine is fresh, diversified and delicious, and the drinks at the bar are top notch. The hotel staff are friendly and service oriented and we enjoyed every interaction. The atmosphere is rustic and provides a cozy feeling. Rooms are large and clean, and decorated beautifully. We would definitely be back and have recommended the hotel to all of our friends!

Maybe a personal preference - we were lacking AC in the room, I completely understand that in the alps, more focus comes to heating the rooms during the winter, but summers are getting hotter, and this might be a future consideration.

This property is out of this world. The staff are amazing, the food is excellent, the rooms are remodeled beautifully. The views are unreal, the spa is so relaxing and it’s right next to the center of town. The E-bikes were a lot of fun. Technically we’ve extended our stay two nights so we are still here.

The hotel is well situated with lovely views along the valley and up the mountains. It's close to shops and the ski bus too. The hotel staff were delightful and very helpful with things like ski hire and passes. The food was absolutely delicious and we loved the afternoon tea and cake spread laid on every afternoon. What a treat! The spa is gorgeous and lovely to relax in at the end of a ski! We'd love to return one day.

It was all lovely - but if I was seeking perfection I'd love an extra pillow and tea/coffee making facilities in the bedroom.

The hotel was very quiet, and very accessible, 5 min walk to the center, we had a very great time. They took care of us and they have noticed that one of us was having his birthday, they celebrated with us and brought a musician and it was a very nice surprise, we really appreciated this allot. The receptionist were very supportive and nice.

Absolutely top hotel with excellent service. Dinner on a very high level. We were all happy.

The only small complaint, is that the hot pool outside should only be for adults. However, as the hotel decide in policy. For us the only complaints on an otherwise high standard.
