This is a lovely, modern, eco-friendly hotel! Upon arrival we received a warm and friendly welcome from Christian that continued throughout our 3-day stay. We were seeking a place to stay that provided a restful, relaxing atmosphere and that is exactly what we found here. Our second floor room provided a balcony that allowed us to enjoy the magnificent views of the mountain and the crisp autumn air. The walls of the halls are lined with wonderful vintage photos of the hotel, conveying its history of when it was the summer residence of the Vienna Boys Choir. If only the walls could talk - or sing! The food was fresh and delicious, prepared and served with love.

I recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax: good food, clean rooms with a beautiful mountain view, a sauna, and very friendly and skilled staff. It’s only 1 hourj from Lienz city, with beautiful hikes in the area, also suitable at a moderate level. Unlike other places in the mountains, there isn’t a nearby church making noise that can be disturbing.

Very friendly host, very easygoing. Diner was delicious, and there was an extensive breakfast buffet. The hotel works with a honesty bar with a large choice of drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), which I found very comfortable. Rooms were clean, comfortable bed. Sauna area was also very nice.

I can’t think of anything negative, we had a short but very enjoyable stay.

This is a really great hotel in a beautiful area! The personnel were incredibly sweet and welcoming, creating a lovely family ambiance. The breakfast was delicious, with high-quality products and careful attention to detail. We also enjoyed the dinners and the great drinks available. The bedding was very comfortable, and the view was simply amazing. The sauna area, especially the bio sauna, was a highlight of our stay. We truly loved our experience here.

Beautiful location with an amazing view from the balcony. The rooms were very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. I was impressed by how friendly the staff were, as well as the entire family that runs this hotel—they truly love what they do.

There is an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom, but it disappears quickly when you turn on the light and the ventilation starts.

Hotel is in a small village with pretty much no drive through traffic. It was perfect for hiking as many many trails start very close to the hotel, no need to drive anywhere. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and dinners were super tasty. Definitely would come back!

The owners and staff are so great, the open philosophy with the drinks, coffee machine and sauna is great, and the homemade dinners were so good. So kind people that the experience is almost like staying with good friends. And the spot is simply incredible, a lot of great wandering routes at hand, or a lot of activities in maximum 15 minutes with auto/bus.

The wifi of the hotel could be better, and for some people the closed menus of the dinners could be a bit off putting.

Authentic interior, mountains view, breakfast with a large selection of add-ons, 24/7 access to the drinks with extensive range of choices (local and worldwide), two large saunas, loungers indoors and outdoors. Very friendly owners and personal.

Slow WiFi, TV without Airplay

Nice hotel at the end of a beautiful valley. Clean and well equipped rooms with balcony and view over the valley. The hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere. Tasty breakfast, dinner also has a vegetarian option. Christian and Kinga are amazing hosts!

A hottub or jaccuzi in addition to the sauna and massage would make it perfect!

Great location, lovely area, absolutely delicious home cooked dinner. The room was clean.

No mosquito nets on the windows which is a big minus because there were some big mosquitoes outside and we could not open the windows to get fresh mountain air.
