Small comfortable hotel in a short distance from Vienna and at the same time in a short distance from interesting locations in the area (Schneeberg, Hohe Wand, Myrafalle, Rax ...). Perfect for trips and tourism and in case of bad weather it is of course close to Vienna. The restaurant is not a part of the hotel (it is a separate building), but the food was great. The parking lot is large enough right in front of/next to the hotel. Almost the entire area is surrounded by pine forests. The staff was nice and helpful.

This place was very nice to stay on our way back from Italy. The restaurant was just great. Very delicious food and so large portions! We liked this place very much. It’s a family-run business with long history. The breakfasts were very diverse and tasty. You might sit here very long and enjoy different types of food. It was really great experience. The room was very quiet and comfortable, with even fumigator agains mosquitoes. The forest area nearby is very pleasant for walking and entertaining children. Though we met a snake there, namely a viper. The hotel has nice parking places. We liked this hotel very much. Our best recommendations for it.

Big room with a very nice balcony. It is smart to have the air conditioning in the adjacent hall near the entrance not blowing air directly to your face. Another intelligent fact was that the toilet (wc) and shower are separated so two person could use sanitary at the same time. Breakfast was available from a good range of time for early mourners to late sleepers. With a lot of options from milk, coffee, juices, homemade tart, fruits, jam, cakes and biscuits. The parking space is free and also very spacious. We felt extremely welcome because we arrived at 11:30 yet we were greeted by a very nice receptionist.

We booked a quadralupe room for four and were impressed by its spaciousness and cleanliness. The private terrace with table and chairs was a lovely touch, while guests on upper floors enjoy access to a large garden terrace. The location is perfect—peaceful yet convenient. Staff were exceptionally friendly, and breakfast was varied and delicious. We often travel through Italy, and this place will be now our go-to stopover.

Very nice breakfast, huge sortiment. The room we got this time was small, but very comfortable and very clean. The hotel staff is kind and helpful.

The first night we ate at the restaurant and that's a bit disappointing. Nothing really bad, but it is simply not good. (And I actually remember that first time we stayed at this hotel, we had the same experience.) Much better to drive a few kilometers to Wiener Nuestadt and find a place there.

Not the luxury place, but very clean. For us it was jut to overnight during the trip to Italy. Booked it as a challenge, but it exceeded our expectations and the most important apart from possible luxury things was the cleanliness. Was clean and nice, staff was nice, breakfast good, just as always in this part of Europe - no fish 🫣. Nor herring nor salmon, but this is what we got used to :). In overall - very good. Good restaurant just across the parking to have a good dinner after travel. Will pin it as a good stopover for our next trips.

Very nice staff and great breakfast.

The room did not have airconditioning which was a big challenge with 32 degrees celcius outside. We kept the window open all night, but since the smoking area was situated right outside our window, the smell of cigarettes was a constant companion. Learnt too late that we could have requested a room with airco. Maybe at the time of comfirming the booking, the hotel could inform the guests that there is an option of a room with airco?

Perfect place to stay for a night during longer trip. Near the highway and easy to find. The room was very quiet, even though the hotel is located just next to the road. We had a direct exit from the room to the forest, which is very convenient when traveling with a dog (there's an additionall payment - 8E for a dog). Comfortable beds, nice bathroom, a mini bar and a fridge in a room. Breakfast was amazing - many options for vegans (even many kinds of vegan milk, and I always have a problem getting plant-based milk in hotels!). Very friendly staff, and a nice restaurant next door.

The only thing that could make the stay better is a kettle in tha room.

Hotel Restaurant Schwartz exceeded our expectations. Breakfasts were absolutely great. Our room was comfortable with its own terrace and the possibility to sit outside with a connection to the beautiful garden. The hotel is located by the road, but the rooms were still quiet. We liked everything, especially the very nice and helpful staff.

Check-in was very smooth. All the formalities were already done, and we just had to sign, and that's it. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Minibar was stacked with enough drinks and snacks for everyone. The Märchenwald right behind the hotel was a Hit with the kids. The breakfast buffet set-up was no less than a 5-star hotel. All in all, we loved our stay at Hotel Schwatz.

There is nothing to complain about.
