Beautiful location, very comfortable room with a well equipped kitchen.

We didn’t see anyone when we checked in and checked out. I wasn’t aware of the payment of the stay needs to happen during our stay. I thought booking has deducted it from my credit card. So we left without paying (really not intentional, no one reminded us as we didn’t see anyone), until the house owner messaged me after we left said we didn’t pay. And I had to wire the money to the bank account. Maybe this process can be improved, so we can avoid this situation.

The location is simply fabulous, with endless possibilities for hiking, biking, lake swimming and other. The staff was really friendly. It was very quiet, yet no one frowned upon our children. There were a lot of toys to borrow and a small playground. We had a ground apartment, it was ideal for us. Breakfast was rich, with some different specialty every day. Apartment was well equipped. There was a microwave, coffeemaker (two types!!!), coffee, tea, salt and pepper. Soft beds. All in all, we were exceptionally happy about our stay!

Wi-Fi could have been stronger. There was no sharp knife in the apartment kitchen, apart from bread knife. Both really small things not hindering our enjoyment of the place.

We booked a studio apartment which was comfortable and well equipped. Our friends booked a one bedroom apartment downstairs which had a lovely outside seating area. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The place had a lovely atmosphere. We didn't have breakfast but our friends did and they said it was superb and well worth having. Also, the reception staff speak English which was a bonus for us.

The location is fairly remote if you are walking the Lechweg and looking to buy provisions to cook or you want to eat out. We did walk to the local town to buy provisions and sat outside our friend's apartment enjoying a simple dinner of pasta with sauce and salad. Walking to the shops was a bit tiring after walking all day but we enjoyed the peace of the location.

Clean, comfortable, beautiful scenery, well equipped, decorated nicely

Well... the description said it was 4.4 miles from Neuschwanstein Castle but in reality it was 26 minutes away. I feel this description of the location was misleading. It would help other travelers to know this fact. My purpose was to get close to the castle, not further away from it.

Everything! This place was so surprising and I can't explain how much it exceeded our expectations. It's very clean and cosy, it's obvious that it's managed with a lot of love and care as a family business. We'll definitely be back!

The toilet in the room was separate from the bathroom and didn't have a sink. No minibar in the rooms. Breakfast is charged separately and we didn't find information about it easily.

Great location, very nice rooms, really decorated with thoughtfulness. They had a fridge with Fritz soda, at a reasonable price. Everything worked in the room.

There is a playground for kids right outside meaning there is screaming from 7am and until 23 pm. Meaning you get up early.

I liked everything. It is literally the best place I ever stayed. Bonus point for the cycling theme they have throughout the hotel. As we been here on Easter they made a special Easter cage for breakfast and they had some chocolate eggs a really nice touch. The breakfast was great , very nice choice of everything, including fruits. Just to add this is the first place I give all 10 rating even if it is not a 5 start hotel or anything like that.

What a lovely little hotel. Full of character and warm decorations. The breakfast was also the best hotel breakfast we had on our trip with lots of options and good food. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

One small problem was we booked a room which included breakfast, however, when my wife checked out, she was charged again for breakfast, She didn't know it was included and paid for it again.

Beautiful, clean and well designed accommodation on the edge of town. It's a great place to relax with beautiful views, but also very well connected to all the activities in the nearby nature. Made with a focus on cycling, but welcoming to all. Very warm staff. Don't forget to go for a dip in nearby Frauensee- only 1km straight up. I definitely want to come back!

Beautiful location with very cozy modern rooms with all the facilities, good coffee machine, fridge and cooking facilities. Lovely owners too! Very quiet and excellent location if you want to hike, hike or rock climb. I particularly like to mention that it’s really nice to see that this hotel is making a nice attempt to be more eco friendly and encouraging guests to do so too. Will definitely try to stay here longer next time!
