The breakfast was very good with lots of selections. My wife and I enjoyed relaxing and looking at the mountains and castles in the distance. The saunas, steam rooms, relaxation rooms, and pools were so nice that we didn't even want to leave the property.

We did not like that the fire pit closed at 2230 yet the bar was open until midnight.

Above reproach in all areas - service, food, hospitality, decor, cleanliness, spa, etc. Exceptional hotel.

The location of the hotel is amazing and the breakfast staff from Ludwig restaurant are very friendly especially Francis! Breakfast was delicious and they took great care of providing healthy food and asking guest for breakfast menue preferences for the next day. View from our suit was breathtaking!

We have booked a suit with a fireplace unfortunately we couldn't use it much as it s on ethanol spirt base and we couldn't brieathe 15 min after having it on....hopefully the hotel will think pf another way of having the fire place in the suits functtioning as it sad to have it but not use it . In addition they could have had 1 king size bed...not 2 single bed mattresses next to each other...

The hotel is stunning and the views unbelievable, our room was abit cosy but the facilities in the hotel were incredible, we used the free bikes to see the beautiful surroundings and the food in the restaurant was very good. A gentleman who served us in the restaurant on the first night of our stay gave us great service.

Mixed service depending on the staff, some staff walked away from us mid sentence with no explanation when we were trying to organise bikes/taxis/payment which left us confused, but other staff we could not fault and were very polite. Room was cosy

Very comfortable room, well equipped and good quality fittings, decor etc. The breakfast is exceptionally good, vast array of choice, the quality is very high and you sit in a room with floor to ceiling glass window doors while looking at Neuschwanstein. The pool and hot tub pass the flinch test for warmth, i.e. very pleasant and you can get into the pool discretely (this hotel has given thought to a lot of 'small details'). Plenty of bikes and choice of bikes are available. The location, for us, is perfect. The people? Exceptionally warm, helpful, friendly and come with a free sense of humour too. Impressed? Oh yes.

Er....the only item of absence noted was no tea/coffee facility in the room, but I'm not certain it would be a good idea because of the quality of the tea coffee available elsewhere in the hotel (and on another positive note, the local water is superb and a supply of it is available in your room from a fountain.....so good).

The staff here were so very obliging and helpful. Really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The mountain views from our room were amazing not to mention the view of Neuschwanstein every morning. The Bavarian countryside is breathtaking and we enjoyed every moment.

I liked everything. We were welcomed by a glass of a fine sparkling wine. Our room had a view to Neuschwanstein Castle and beautiful farms with cows grazing. We could hear their bells. The room was very comfortable, elegantly decorated and very cozy. The staff was really nice and everything we asked of them was attended right away. The pool had a view to the castle and was comfortably warm. The breakfast was delicious, with many options for everyone.

The restaurant has only 2 vegetarian options.

Stayed here for two nights with my partner and the view was incredible, just as advertised with Neuschwanstein shining in the mountains. Snow on the second day helped add to the magic, too! From the moment we arrived the hotel staff were brilliant, friendly, attentive and engaging. The breakfast was plentiful and suited our needs and we had dinner in the evening in the restaurant which was also delicious. The spa area was very comfortable and had enough space for guests to enjoy it, with nice extra touches like healthy snacks and all sorts of tea available. I would definitely love to stay again. Especially in the summer months.

Would have preferred a double mattress, rather than two singles pushed together but it was not too noticeable. More than one jacuzzi would be great and the outdoor pool could have been warmer. The restaurant was maybe a little too high on the price side. Small things that did not detract from the stay.

Fantastic location and facilities, restaurant and bar were great and quality of the food was excellent. Renting bikes to get to the castles was convenient and fun.

Better towels for day to day! Spa towels were great. (Minor issue!)

You must do something about the bee’s. While eating food a guest should NOT have bee’s in their face, food etc. we ate inside and outside and the amount of bee’s located in both eating areas were unacceptable. There are many organic items which can be used to protect the paying guests .
