Superb team and beautiful Wellness Suite Loved this hotel. Extremely helpful team across the whole stay. Compact but beautifully & quirkily decorated room and also in all areas of the hotel. The whole establishment is a delightful homage to King Ludwig and his favourite Composer Richard Wagner with so many photos, art pieces and memorabilia dotted around. Everything feels like it’s all been thoughtfully done for the interest and delight of the guests. The highlight of our stay was the wellness suite. After a chilly visit to the beautiful castle nearby, to be able to arrive back at the hotel and change into our soft & snuggly bathrobes and pop to the wellness suite was divine. I enjoyed the steam room and both saunas before relaxing on a lounger listening to serene birdsong and zen like music! I actually dozed off which is a rarity for me. We spent a couple of hours in there, feeling totally relaxed and enjoying the free refreshments. The hotel’s Riwa restaurant is frequented by many Locals and has a busy, buzzy, friendly atmosphere. The food was typical and delicious, made and cooked fresh to order. My white Asparagus soup, a favourite of mine, was the best home made I have ever tasted. We were lucky it’s in season right now. The breakfast selection in the Riwa was superb and laid out beautifully. The only issue we had during our stay was simply that I could not turn the heat up on my room but once I asked the reception staff it was immediately corrected and switched onto ‘heat’ mode rather than cool. The area had just recently experienced high temps and sunshine which very quickly had switched to cold and snow (which was magical and made the area even prettier!). Everything was fabulous. Right in the town centre at the end of the Main Street. Secure car parking available at the hotel. The room was big, comfortable and clean with a large wet room shower. Our view was great from the balcony. The staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast buffet had a fabulous selection. We didn’t use the restaurant in the evening but it was always busy so we assume it was good. Large souvenir shop at the hotel that was no more expensive than in the town. We were given a Füssen pass at the hotel that gave free travel on local bus services so we travelled to Neuchwanstein and Hohenshwangau castles free and easily without having to pay to park the car - the pass also gave small discounts on entrance fees.

The Hotel is at the beginning of the old city shopping street ! As you arrive yo immediately see THE WELL SIGN POSTED Check in PARKING ! One reviewer apparently could not see the car park which I think is very clear and easy to find ! The reception staff were very friendly and gave us a warm welcome and gave us the underground parking pass . The hotel is very clean and has very nice decor ! The rooms are clean spacious and the beds are comfortable . The room was quiet we all slept well. The breakfast was extensive and the bread selection as usual in Germany was very very fresh. There is a live cooking station and the omelette was excellent. My regret was we only stayed one night . An excellent hotel in a beautiful Bavarian City .

Lovely hotel. Comfortable room & bed. Wonderful breakfast. Excellent location. Front desk personnel, breakfast room host and servers were fantastic. Hotel located right at start of füssgangerzone of city. Underground parking available upon reservation. Felt like our family dog was genuinely welcomed on site. :-)

Our evening server on first night visiting Riwa (outside terrace) was rude. When we arrived on the terrace, he asked us what we wanted (a menu, maybe?), and when we wanted to pay with a debit card and get a receipt afterwards, he acted offended and asked why we didn't trust him. Too much drama for an apfelstudel. Minor inconvenience, however. Other interactions at hotel and in restaurant were wonderful.

Good location, although situated on a round about so it was a bit noisy throughout the night. The decor is fun and opulent. The hotel offers so many little gems, and we returned to enjoy our evening in the outdoor bar space. It felt the place to 'be' in Fussen. You book into an experience, not just a hotel. The staff were outstanding, particularly at reception. A woman called Damariel was so helpful and made me feel so welcome. She went out of her way to assist with the parking. I'd recommend this hotel, and if I ever return to Fussen, I would love to stay here again.

The breakfast is outstanding, featuring a diverse array of delicious options, and the dining area is both inviting and comfortable. Our room met our needs perfectly. We had an unforgettable experience tandem paragliding in Füssen, which I highly recommend through FLY ROYAL PARAGLIDING at www.fly-royal.de. The location couldn't be better, situated conveniently near the vibrant shopping street. All in all, this is the perfect destination for a memorable short getaway to Füssen!

I believe that adjusting the room price could significantly improve the hotel guests' benefits. :)

I did encounter a few challenges during my stay. The parking situation at the hotel is quite tight, which can make it difficult to maneuver larger vehicles. Additionally, I found that the payment process was somewhat inconvenient; I was unable to complete my payment during the booking and was required to settle the bill upon arrival. Maybe the issue was from booking.com am not sure. Moreover, one of the more disappointing aspects of our trip was the limited dining options for halal cuisine. There was only one halal restaurant in proximity to the hotel, and unfortunately, the staff there were not very accommodating and had difficulty communicating in English. This made for a less enjoyable dining experience, particularly for those seeking specific dietary options.

This hotel was close to the bus and train stations and within walking distance of many of the attractions in the area. My room was small and clean. It had everything I needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Be sure to ask at the desk for your Füssen card which is paid for by your city tax and gives you discounts in certain places and free bus transportation. Also, note the card in your room that says if you don't need housekeeping each day, you can get 8 Euros off in the restaurant. Above all, the breakfast is amazing! Go hungry.

Room is very big and has a balcony with some partial snow capped mountain views. And we saw the first snow fall at the balcony. Breakfast area is very prettily designed and breakfast is really good with freshly made eggs of your choice and a wide variety of bread and croissants, warm dishes and fresh fruits, and coffee is good! One of the best hotel breakfasts we have come across. Short walk to Fuessen old town and lots of eateries around. Short drive to the Hohenschwangau village (to get to the castle).

Room has a step down from the entrance, so older folks have to be careful once you open the door to the room. Pillows are too soft. Carpets are stained, insufficient counter space in the toilet. Underground carpark is provided at 13 Euros a night but both entrance to the carpark and the carpark lots are very narrow, so need to inform the hotel in advance if you are driving a big car.

Breakfasts were excellent. It had variety, both hot and cold. The servers were quick to clear used plates. The restaurant space was spacious. The hotel location was excellent. It was 5 minutes walk from the main train station and bus station. The hotel gave out the Fusen bus passes for the day that we were there to get to the castles' main parking lot.

The guests should not have to ask or inquire about getting the complimentary Fussen passes. Why did the hotel ask us to fill out our birthday information when we checked in?
