Room: Newly Renovated. Very Comfortable but a bit noisy if facing the street Location: Walk to everything. Excellent! Breakfast: included with stay. Fresh, good choices, comfortable.

I emailed the hotel before our stay and asked for the "Fussen Pass" to be available upon arrival. The pass is available to tourists staying in Fussen and gives free transportation to and from the castles. The desk reception person said he did not have them and could not print them. I had to pay 30 euros for the bus :(

The hotel is situated on the main street of the old town. We were greeted by a very friendly & helpful receptionist. The room was spacious and clean and had the most comfortable bed we have ever found in any hotel! The hotel is bright with windows that you can open. The breakfast was very good with a variety of options.

There wasn't a traditional reception area and it wasn't staffed at all times. Whenever we returned to the hotel the external door was never locked. External security, plus the addition of a kettle, tea & coffee would make this hotel score a full 10

The hotel is located in the historical part of town with shops and restaurants very near. It is in a quaint setting. The property is well cared for and the beds were comfortable. An elevator is available. Our room was extremely hot and the fan provided offered moderate relief from the heat.

The only draw backs were the temperature of the rooms, despite using a fan and opening the window. Breakfast is offered complimentary and the hotel warns that you may have to wait for a seat at breakfast, which is the case. And we found the times, for breakfast, varied according to the staff's wishes... closing early.

The accommodation is in a very good location, everything is easily accessible. The room is nicely renovated in an older building. The staff is helpful, the breakfast was delicious.

The booking description said they had their own parking. This is true, but it is limited and cannot be reserved in advance. We only found out on site if there was a space available. Furthermore, parking cost an extra 9 euros, which is not a lot of money, but they could have discussed it in advance.

The hotel was extremely clean and quiet. The breakfast room was well set out for guests and was light and spacious. We had a good choice of food at breakfast..... including a hot option of scrambled egg and bacon. The prepared fresh fruit could have been more varied but, at least, it was an option. The rception staff were friendly and welcoming... when you came across them.

Room 14 had a really bad layout. The bedroom was separated from the ensuite by a really long corridor. I would advise anyone who needs to use the bathroom during the night to avoid booking this room. Nothing wrong with the bedroom or the ensuite except that they are NOT together. A final small point is that the TV is on a wall that doesn't face the bed for ease of watching.

Our stay at Hotel Fussen was great. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The included buffet breakfast was very good. The hotel is close to the train station, where you can also catch the buses to different areas for hiking and the Neuschewanstein and Hohenschwanghau castles. It's just a 2 minute walk from the tourist information centre, which I highly recommend a visit to find out info and to get a printed bus schedule.

Nothing really. Perhaps providing thinner doonas in spring and summer would be better.

Great location, spotless rooms, good breakfast included in price. Staff welcoming and friendly. Great details provided for driving to car park; they have clearly responded to previous comments by customers.

The reception was just desk in what had the appearance of a side entrance and was not staffed once all expected guests had arrived, which made it feel more like a hostel than hotel. Room needed bedside lighting rather than just ceiling lighting, and an extra pillow for comfort. Although Füssen felt safe, the main entrance is left unlocked all night, with no-one on the door to maintain security.

Breakfast was good. Value was excellent. Beds were comfy. Fussen is a nice little town to stay in if you are visiting the castles. I think it was much better to stay in Fussen then to try to travel 2 hours from Munich and then 2 hours back again in the same day.

No AC as far as we could tell, although I thought other rooms that other family stayed in at this hotel did have AC. It actually wasn't really a problem since the temp outside was mild. Breakfast time on the sheet in our room stated 7:30, but other places stated 7:00 and it did start at 7:00.

This was my first time in Germany, and the hotel’s location, right on the main street, made it very convenient for exploring this beautiful town. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us, as foreign visitors, feel at home. There is a parking lot located behind the hotel, and it’s easy to reach by following the hotel’s instructions. Our main destination was Schloss Neuschwanstein, but choosing to stay here and take the time to explore the town turned out to be the perfect decision. We thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful three-day, two-night stay.

Everything is new and spotlessly clean. Our triple room was just enormous. Fusen is a fairy tale old town and the hotel is in the middle of the most beautiful area. The parking place was perfect. The breakfast was tasty and diverse. The son of the owner was at the reception in the morning, a very polite and kind young man of a wonderful Turkish family, that speak a beautiful English which is a "rara avis" in that country.... In the middle of Germany, we felt so happy to be there, surrounded by the warm and welcoming Turkish hospitality... And this is one of the big pluses of this hotel... If I would ever go back to Fussen, I would definetly chose this accomodation again.

Because I'm a hotel owner myself, I dearly advice the owners of Fussen hotel to be careful at the maid. She only speak German (🙄) and sometimes she might be rude...
