One of the most ergonomically well-arranged and comfortable rooms I've ever stayed in. Large balcony with deckchairs for relaxing. Ample space for hanging clothes and storing cases. Powerful shower with instant hot water. Spotlessly clean. Friendly and welcoming staff. A short walk from the centre of the old town, but so peaceful. The gastro pub on the other side of the street was perfect for evening meals. Breakfast was plentiful with a great spread of cheeses, with vegan options too. Füssen itself is a charming base for exploring Ludwig II's castles and also the surrounding lakes and countryside.

Clean and spacious room, convenient location, excellent breakfast

Front desk almost always no staff attendance. The front door was locked when we arrived it took some time to find someone to let us into the hotel. During our stay, we had always needed to use our key, not an electronic door card to open the front door. The parking around the hotel was limited. Additional parking was on different street and difficult to find the location at night. Wish the hotel has AC in room.

Friendly staff at reception on arrival and throughout stay. Spacious brightly decorated room with a balcony. Very good shelf, drawer and hanging storage space with a good number of hangers. Excellent pillows. Spacious bathroom with plenty storage space and an easy to access shower with easy controls and reasonable pressure. Very good buffet breakfast with choice of cereals, fruits, breads, cheeses and meats. Close to the river with an easy walking route to the town centre. Between 15 to 20 minutes walk to the train/bus station.

Everything in the room was good quality and worked well

Parking could have been an issue. The hotel is marketed as having free parking on site. In fact this is limited and if full the next free parking is 400 meters away. We were advised this after booking and paying. Also after booking and paying we were advised that check in closed at 19:00 hrs. Travelling by road from Rotterdam, this put us under considerable pressure in the event of traffic delays. As it happens we were lucky, but could have lost our booking and had to find another hotel. Not good enough really and poor practice bordering on deception to advise this after booking rather than before

The room was spacious and quiet. Very comfortable bed although it creaked. Easy walk to waterfall and town.

Parking was a bit complicated. Had to use a deserted hotels underground car park as only a few spaces near hotel. No toast or bananas or nice cakes at breakfast.

The breakfast was very good. Everything from cereals, to scrambled eggs and bacon! Continental breakfast choices, fruits and cheeses. Very friendly staff. Large bedroom. Super location. Walking distance to the town. Very calm atmosphere. Impressive building.

The breakfast was excellent. The room had a nice balcony and there was a table in the room with two comfortable chairs. Coffee and other drinks were available in the breakfast room. We had to mark on a sheet of paper what we took there.

I have no suggestions for improvement.

The property is of a simple yet beautiful elegance, and location are fabulous. The two ladies we interacted with, did everything to make us feel welcome and were at our disposal with any kind of information or request. Continental breakfast, ok to start a new day. (For numberless types of salami, check all inclusive in Turkey) Perfect cleanliness, chromatic harmony and complete silence. A PERFECT location for someone alone or a couple looking for peace and the simplicity of nature. A purely personal opinion: I don't think it's the right location for noisy families or with many children.

Beautiful location within an easy 10 minute walk to Fussen town centre along side the river. Spacious room with very large bed. Good selection at breakfast. We were in the overspill room for breakfast so had to walk through to another room for the buffet which was not a problem. We have stayed in this area before but hadn’t realised we were within walking distance to a fantastic waterfall. We visited it before we left the area in the morning. The lady on reception told us about it.

A fridge in the room and tea and coffee facilities would have been very welcome. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, very firm. Everyone seemed to turn up to breakfast at the same time. Could have done with food being more spaced out as you found yourself being in the way of others.

We like this hotel very much. Sitting on the back balcony, you can see the castle and the river. It is very quiet. There are many restaurants within walking distance.
