I had a single room with private bathroom so it was the perfect combination of a hostel and a hotel. Communal kitchen (really well stocked) and lounge area, washing machines available and decent parking. The guy who checked me in was so friendly and helpful.

I don't think there was a way of locking your door from the inside, I didn't feel unsafe but it is still nice to have as a solo traveller. This is not the hotels fault but worth knowing. There were too large groups staying at the same time as me who were obviously celebrating, obviously fine but it did mean it was quite noisy in the designated quiet times. I am used to staying in hostels so I had my ear plugs with me, but just worth noting if you're looking to stay here.

It was at a walkable distance from the centre and the main attractions. There were some quiet and green trails leading to the waterfalls behind the hotel which were nice. The room was clean, modern, well furnished and of good size. There was a big shared kitchen with ample cooking supplies, an eating area and a beautiful terrace. I would recommend it for short and long stays.

Soap/shampoo were not provided. The check in time was rather late compared to other hotels. Since it functioned more like a WG than a hotel, the reception was not occupied all the time. Although this was not an issue to me, it is an added concern if you face any problems during your stay. The washroom, eventhough clean and shared between just 2 rooms, was almost always occupied, with some tourists constantly knocking on the door and trying to open it while you take a shower. This was the only annoying part of my stay, but it must have more to do with the people staying in the other rooms than the property itself.

It was a very lovely stay, we stayed for only a night, but it is also good for longer stays. Very clean, comfortable and nice. You have to share the bathroom with one other bedroom, but we were lucky to have it just to ourselves and it is right next to the bedroom, and also very clean. It is also a dogfriendly place, we came with our dog and the additional fee is only 10,-€/night. The hostess was also very nice and kind, she came within a few minutes after our arrival. Overall everything was good. Thanks for everything.

Nice place, close to Füssen old town. Great community kitchen. No problem with sharing bathroom (only with one other room). Everything is very clean.

No aircondition in the room. Hard to sleep when it’s so hot. And an open window doesn’t help because of the loud traffic from the road…

Everything here is perfect! The owner is very kind and the arrangement to leave the bag before the check-in time was smooth. I like the kitchen and common space a lot. Although it is not in the city center area but the location is also great. It takes 7-10 mins walk to downtown and 12-15 mins walk to the train station.

I have booked a single room with a bathroom. The room was more than enough for three nights stay, very clean and comfortable. The owner is welcoming. The Rote Villa is situated about 10 min from Town Centre. I would recommend the stay to another solo traveler who is going on a hike or check out the castles in the neighbourhood.

The staff were very friendly and responsive. Facilities were very clean, and the kitchen is probably one of the best communal kitchens I've used. As a backpacker, appreciated that while this hotel was further from the city center, there's a convenience center across the street which stocks some basic food items which really saved me when I checked in late and was too tired to walk into town. Also appreciated that there was a washer + dryer. Overall, I would stay here again over the convenience of downtown simply because of all the amenities and cleanliness.

I'm 6'00" tall so this probably plays into it, but the mattress in the single bedroom was a bit thin.

- close to Fussen center - clean - comfortable beds

- separate washing room - very conservative checkin time 16-18hr, too difficult for travelers to focus on such mandatory requirements by apartment. Need other solution like implementation of key boxes. There are many easy solutions.

The lady at the reception was very nice and accommodating. The room and the kitchen were clean. Even if the shower/toilet was shared but only with one more room.

The first morning I saw a little jar with coffee, the second morning it was gone.

I had a very pleasant 2-day stay. The villa is cozy, 2 bus stops from the train station. The kitchen is well equipped, allowing at least two groups of people cooking together.

Check-in time is limited, but not a problem to me.
