The check-in was super simple. Parking is spacious and has around 10 spots. The room despite not being big, had an amazing view and was super clean. The beds were comfortable and there were no issues with the internet connection.

Don't ask for breakfast. Just drop by ALDI nearby. We paid 35 euros for the cold snacks that should have been included, considering the price of the stay.

It was clean and secure, I felt safe.

I thought it was a SPA. There was no pool, no jacuzzi, just a hot box downstairs and that closed at 4:30. Very hard to find, the address is not on the street, you have to drive passed down the street to the next block, turn on a street not marked, and then there was the sign..

Lovely place located in a big garden just outside old town Fussen (about a 15-minute walk). Hotel is well appointed and the rooms were spacious and clean. We had a room with a balcony and a great view of the mountains, although it was rainy so we didn't get to use it. We partially chose it because we had a car and parking here was easy and plentiful, but also because it felt like it was more in the "countryside". It did not disappoint. It was fairly quiet when we were there (Fall) but I can imagine in the summer when it is filled with hikers and other tourists that it would really come alive. As we left, we noticed that there were some restaurants and shops on the road heading away from old town Fussen and those could have been handy or interesting to explore if one did not want to go into old town and deal with a lot of tourists. Staff is only at the front desk for a couple blocks of time, so do be aware of that. They will send you information on how to get in if you arrive late, which you really need to make sure to look for, otherwise I'm not sure how you get in. The breakfast/restaurant area looked nice and had a lovely view. As we were out and about, we only poked our head in here. They do have an honor bar if you are looking for a beer, small snack or bottle of wine when you get back in the evening. As someone else mentioned, it would be nice if they had a leaflet or information on this in the room as we did not know about until our last night. We did not do the breakfast buffet as it is pricey and instead walked into town to a bakery. Quick and easy drive from here to Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. Would absolutely come back and would love to visit the area again and stay here during wamer spring or late summer weather.

Coffee/Tea facility in the room would handy, as would a fridge, especially since the room size can accommodate it. We had a room on the second floor, one away from the elevator (I think it was 108 and maybe 107 is right on the elevator wall). In other reviews, people mentioned the elevator noise and you can definitely hear it. The first morning was not a big deal, just once or twice, but the second morning a group of people must have been leaving, and the elevator was non-stop. I cannot imagine if we had the room that abutted the elevator shaft. Try to get at least one room separation. A later check-out (10am is checkout) and more staff interaction would be nice. Feels a bit cold when no-one is around, although I have to say staff was very friendly the two times we crossed paths.

Our trip to Europe was 14 days in six cities, and this hotel was our favorite. The view from our room was magical. The room itself was large and well-appointed with a comfortable bed. Our travel partners had a balcony on their room that afforded the same view as ours, but one floor up and unencumbered by windows. We partook in the breakfast, and it was filled with cured meats, cheeses, fresh vegetables, yogurt and more. There were also snacks and beverages after hours, available for purchase using the honor system. The hotel sits on a wooded and grassy site that affords it privacy. Laundry is available but an app is needed to use the washer and dryer.

The property is fantastic on the outside and on the inside . The building itself looks like an old century , it has fantastic communal garden and plenty of outdoor space and benches . The check-in was so easy with instructions sent to you before hand . The room is brilliant , so comfortable and feels like the walls are thick , could not hear any noise from outside . The bathroom is clean and has plenty of supplies . We had a window view and literally we could see the famous beautiful castle . The property is located next to a grocery shop big one and 10 minutes walk to train station and buses that take you to the landmarks . Honestly we wish we could extend our holiday as this place offers so much things .

Good size room with balcony and good wash facilities. Breakfast was good and the host was helpful. Good parking and close to local facilities and attractions.

I found the reception hours lacking particularly in the later part of the day and the key code system after 4 seemed to cause problems although there is a contact number and help at hand. The hotel runs on a trust system re the bar/ drinks and nibbles but I think an information leaflet should be left on your bed on arrival explaining the hotels system and what you can have and not have. We only found out by reading an information sheet left on the reception shelf. However once you get use to the system it works fine but is limited.

We went to the castles and planned to stay not too far away. We arrived around 17.00 and the description how to get the key went very well. The room was spacious enough for our luggage and to enjoy the comfort. There is a cozy library room. Complementary water and wine in the room. Restaurants were a good 10 minute walk away and we walked around the alley ways of Füssen afterwards before we headed back. Breakfast was not included in the price and paid Euro 16.00 per person. Nicely set out breakfast with various cereals, Müsli and nuts, plus boiled eggs, cheese, meat…

Problems with locking the door

We loved our stay in the hedeauts hotel,the staff were great ,the breakfast was amazing and the room was a perfect size for us,it has a huge car park and a lovely garden to walk around in,its also a short cut to the Main Street,the pillows were so comfortable that we meant to ask where they were gotten as my husband loved it that much,the hotel is within a few minutes walk to the old town and the busses and train station

Nothing at all

Very pretty hotel, perfect with any means of transport (by foot, bike or car). The room was clean -though a little dark, contrasting with a bright and modern bathroom. The services available were very nice, with environmentally conscious details everywhere.

The staff was not around much: I only managed to catch one of them upon arrival and right before departure. I had to leave my luggage in an unlocked and unattended "library" before having access to the room on the day I arrived (thankfully I had locks on my suitcases and the other hotel guests were nice so nothing happened).

Fantastic location in a beautiful garden. Generous size room and ample parking. A very welcoming and helpful staff - both reception and breakfast room. Good selection of fresh delicious food for breakfast. Walking distance to Füssen - with plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants. A complimentary bottle of local red wine in our room was a lovely surprise. All made a perfect base for exploring beautiful Schwangau area.
