This hotel is located in the town of Schwangau, just a short distance from the cable car and Neuschwanstein Castle, about a 30-minute walk away. There’s a beer garden next door, and across the street, you’ll find a supermarket and a post office. Behind the hotel, there’s also a visitor center where travelers can get all kinds of information. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly! They even lent me a pair of scissors so I could cut the tags off my newly purchased dirndl and wear it the next day. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay close to Neuschwanstein Castle while experiencing authentic Bavarian village life. This hotel is absolutely wonderful—I’ve already started planning my next trip to come back here!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. One of the nicest surprises was discovering that the property has a spa—it made the stay feel extra relaxing and special. The breakfast was also excellent, with a great variety and fresh options to start the day right. Overall, a very enjoyable experience. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

The only downside was that my room was on the top floor, where the ceiling was oblique, which made it feel a bit less spacious.

Fantastic location near Neuschwanstein Castle. Staff was exceptional (A+++), breakfast was fantastic, as was spa (steam room and sauna - open 1700-2130), outdoor garden and views were to make memories. Comfortable room, modern bath and WiFi. Grocery store immediately across street is convenient. We will be staying here if we ever return.

Limited dining opportunities in Schwangau. Restaurant associated with hotel (separate ownership which is common in Germany) was not open. Had to drive short distance into Füssen which has difficult parking and restaurants close early.

This place was absolute perfection. I had probably their most basic room, as a solo traveller I booked the single, but it wasn’t basic by any means. Clean, fresh looking, lots of storage, comfortable bed, fantastic shower and bathroom. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they changed my blankets and pillows immediately as forgot to request no feathers, they gave me a kettle to make tea in my room. Free breakfast which was delicious and extensive. As for the location, it couldn’t have been better. View from the lounge room of both castles and the mountains. Opposite a supermarket. I could go on and on, this place was an amazing find. Also considering I stayed of NYE I couldn’t get over how cheap it was. 100/10

The spa provided a relaxing oasis with sauna and steam bath. It had plenty of quiet relaxing chairs inside and out. The breakfast choices were diverse and delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was everything i expected. The restaurant in the same building is owned separately from the hotel and is not worth visiting. The head manager (with tatoos) was crazy, loud, and very rude. The food was overpriced. There are better restaurants within walking distance.

Everything was absolutely perfect! The staff was very kind and helpful, they even made a little surprise for me, as it was my birthday during my stay in Weinbauer Hotel. The room was quite spacious and extremely clean. The spa was lovely and there was a lot of different kind of food to choose from. The hotel's location is perfect - 20 min walk to Hohenschwangau village and 10 min drive to Füssen. There is literally no bad things I can write about the hotel, it's perfect!

Maybe i am used with other kinds of accomodations and that´s why i liked it so much. The room was warm and clean, the staff friendly, breakfast very good, you have a lot o variety of food and is like all you can eat, like 2 or 3 bus stations away from the castels, i enjoy it. You also habe some restaurants near the hotel where you can eat.

What is not to like, was awesome. Check the weather before coming and the Bus ist not until late hours so be careful, you might have to walk back to the hotel from the castels, is like 2.5 km until there.

it amazing hotel hir what is sou special abaut it ! first location i arive late night and in morning in the back on the parking i sou castle and one of most amazing pictures what will stay in mi head ! second personal of hotel super frendly super helful ! rooms clean and nice size i stay in single room person and i like bed it was a bit biger then for single person very comfortable ! i was alredy several times in füssen that hotel i find the best value for money

Very good location and easy access, staff is really nice and friendly, the receptionists are knowledgeable and happy to help with information about the area. Rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, clean, and we had a balcony with chairs and table. Beautiful views. Very nice breakfast with a good selection and amazing fresh breads and pastries.

On arrival, we were greeted by a very friendly receptionist. The room was super clean and comfortable, with soft towels, including for the spa, which was a nice invitation to use the spa facilities. These were great and we enjoyed the evening there a lot. The location is also great, with parking available. The breakfast was also delicious with lots of variety.
