The place is good and well-thought. The staff is friendly and helpful. The ski room is with lockers that work with the same card as your apartment. Comfy spa space with a really good sauna - I enjoyed that a lot. The breakfast is absolutely great, we enjoyed it every day - many options and products are good. Appliances in the room are high quality and you can find everything you need there, both for a kitchen and a bathroom. The warm floor makes the place very warm during winter time. We had a studio, it was well equipped despite the small size. The ski shuttle service is absolutely great as it takes you to the closest ski lifts. But also there is a public ski express every 20 minutes, and it will take you about 5 minutes to get to the lift. Also, there is a restaurant and a bar available.

It was complex with the temperature setting in the room, as it usually got too hot. So we had to sleep with the balcony door partially open in winter to get the temperature right. And yeah, you cannot tilt the window - only open it. Also, the pillows were not so good, but to be honest, we had no neck or back issues after a week on those beds and pillows. The air went in the kitchen don't filter out odors well enough, we had a smell after cooking for quite long.

Breakfast was exceptional with a lot of different choices. The room and kitchen were very clean. The staff was very friendly and understanding. The included regional Joker card and location of the hotel are ideal for hiking trips. We arrived late in the evening but the instructions on how to access our room were well communicated. There was an issue with our room where there was a smell in the drainage in one of the bath rooms. However, the staff was very helpful and eager to upgrade us to another room should the smell persist another day. The staff neutralized the smell with a product and after a day there was some rain which completely cleared the smell.

Unfortunately no air conditioning

We had a very clean spacious 2 bed apartment. Lots of parking and room to lock up bikes. Great location. Bus stop right outside. Breakfast was really good. Nice freshly made eggs every morning. Good selection of other breakfast foods. Outstanding customer service from Anna Marie and Florence. My daughter left her bike helmet on the bus one day and thanks to the efforts of the staff, the bus driver dropped it off the next day and it was waiting for us in reception when we got back to the hotel later that day. Amazing . Would definitely recommend this hotel .

Well-run place, clean, a nice-size studio with kitchen facilities. Excellent for a longer stay (a few days). It is set up well for a winter stay (skiing). We stayed there n the summer: a nice drive from town. Saalbach is a ski town! Excellent breakfast! Helpful knowledgeable staff.

All good. If I had to “complain”, there’s no kitchen during summer except for breakfast. And make sure you have a car here.

Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The excellent service from the staff and the thoughtful amenities in the room made my trip perfect. I can’t wait to come back!

The hotel is located about a 10-minute drive from Hinterglemm, which I found a bit inconvenient

The staff was very nice and always helped out and gave us a lot of information about attractions. Room was very large, great kitchen and the two bathrooms were very convenient. We also did our laundry once. The rooms are very quiet. No noise during our sleep (nothing heard from the road) Great view when walking outside to the garden area. Great breakfast!!

Our stay was excellent, but just to let others know: There was no small window in the rooms, and only window doors allowing access to the garden area. At night we had to keep the doors a bit open otherwise it would get too warm. We were a bit concerned about this, but it was ok since no one actually walked outside... Feeling was very safe.

Friendly staff, free parking. Joker card is a very big plus. Two bathrooms. Little private garden in front of the room.

Some furniture and the bed were little worn out. Wifi was not working properly. Microwave would be useful. We didn't ask for breakfast, but at checking out from what I could see, it is overpriced based on selection.

The biggest asset is the staff. Annemarie at the reception was just great and made us feel at home. It was a real pleasure meeting her. And also everyone else was really nice and especially friendly to our little boy. We really liked the breakfast. You can order fresh egg dishes and chose from a variety of cold cuts. The lodge is very cosy and also the Joker card is a real plus. The location is good, a short walk away from Saalbach and the bus stop in front of the hotel.

The bed was horrible to be honest. It wasn’t a double bed as stated but two single beds put together which kept on getting apart. You don’t want that as a couple, let alone if you have a 5-months old sleeping in the middle. Also the promised bathrobe was missing but that is just a minor detail and we should have asked. The most annoying thing were unfortunately the other guests. The hotel was full of Arab guests who made a lot of noise until late night. Moving furniture at the terrace constantly, stamping and just making a lot of noise, simply not being considerate of others.

Great experience, super friendly staff that always helped us out. We could even shower after we finished skiing and were already checked out. The apartments/rooms are great, never have I ever seen such multifunctional rooms in a hotel with a fully equipped kitchen, music boxes etc. would really recommend it anyone who wants to visit Saalbach.

No pool, but we already knew that before we booked. Still a super great place! A pool in a another hotel couldn't substitute our experience.
