Beautiful hotel with wonderful facilities in a great position in St Gilgen. We loved having our breakfast on the terrace and the swimming pool and wellness area was lovely. Our room was comfortable and clean and we enjoyed the little lounge area with the facilities to make a drink. Staff on reception were so helpful with suggestions of the best things to visitl. The icing on the cake was the amazing private jetty by the lake a little walk away with a beautiful relaxation area and rowing boat!

It's a shame the area doesn't have a better summer card but that's no fault of the hotel!

The house had a comfortable parking space right up front, and within short walking distance to the main hotel. At the hotel we could enjoy the offered dinner at a time that fit into our daily schedule of traveling the area. This was especially good considering most of the local restaurants closed very early. The staff was wonderful and very helpful, especially Ronold that welcomed us. They also provided us with a daily transportation pass which we used to get to, and back from, Bad Ischl.

I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel and it's wonderful staff!! we loved the location and our room was AMAZING! with a view of the lake and mountains. The facilities are top notch, and the breakfast divine; as a vegan I greatly appreciated the choice. Every evening we used the spa, which is wonderful, with so many rooms to choose from (sauna, steam etc.) and a delightful pool. The hotel is set in its own grounds that are peaceful and relaxing, with all the local shops and restraunts just a short walk away. The best thing really was how friendly and accomodating the staff were, which made it feel more like a wellness retreat! We are so thakful to all everyone at Hollwegers and we hope to visit again in the very near future!

There was nothing we didn't like at all. This hotel far exceeded our expectations!

Beautiful location with stunning views, only a 10 minute walk into town on a lovely path The owner was excellent and very hospitable. The staff were almost all fantastic. Love the pool and spa area, it was well used during our stay. Grounds were beautifully kept Breakfast was plentiful.

we loved everything. it was like in a fairytale or a dream. the this I most regret is that we stayed here for only 1 night. we will definitely return. the room was lovely and big. the breakfast that super delicious, the heated pool was very welcoming. very much recommended

The location in that area is unique. Both you can see the beautiful lake and village and you have the ultimate calm you need. It is also just in front of bus stop going to Salzburg or BadIschl. And Supper market is just 100m away

Quality and setting. Beautiful views and lovely hotel.

Meals were poor with little flavour or choice.

Very nice and tasty breakfast, great pool, possibility to parking near the accommodation, excellent location in the city center by the lake.

Breakfast was delicious. There was a wide variety of foods. Staff were cordial and helpful.
