We were so happy staying here, The hotel is amazing the views all round are fantastic, very quiet location so very relaxing. Nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful friendly staff. Breakfast had such a large choice , afternoon cake was always a nice treat. Evening meals were also exceptional and never rushed. The staff even made my Husbands birthday special decorating our table and a complimentary champagne it was such a lovely surprise. Our room was fantastic plenty of room and even more lovely views and so quiet. We are looking forward to our return trip there

Hotel is right on the slope for Rohrmos ll lift. You ski out and ski in to the hotel. Rooms were comfortable and very clean. View from the hotel to Dachstein Gletscher is spectacular. Food was excellent! Breakfast offer was rich and dinner was tasty and creative. Owner Andreas is also the main Chef; courses were towards the level of Michelin recommendation. Every course was tasty and nicely served. I especially enjoyed soups as I cannot tell which one I liked more (every day there were 2 soups offer). However hotel would not be at that level without its soul - staff that workes there. Whom to mention? Julia - a young owner very friendly and always at the right place; Antonio at the reception, always with the smile; Kristina and Ruza who were always there when you needed them. And what to say about Tomislav? He was more than our main waiter. He knows a lot about gastronomie, is knowledgable about wines and knows a lot about things around Schladming. He was great help and always ready to help and to joke. Thank you Burgfellnerhof team for the nice week that you have created for us!

Wellness could be expanded in the future and should work also during the morning times.

very nice, hotel with excellent food, friendly staff

1. our stay would have been perfect if smoking on the balcony would have been prohibited. For non smokers, it is really annoying to feel the smoke while chilling on the balcony. Unfortunately the smoke came into the room and we needed to close the window every time despite of the very hot weather. 2. large cupboard doors on the corridor were slammed very early in the morning more times between 6-7 am, making us awake

We had an incredible stay at this charming hotel, where everything from the stunning mountain views to the warm hospitality made for a memorable experience. Our room was incredibly comfortable, with attention to detail that made us feel right at home. The friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, adding a personal touch that made our stay even more special. Breakfast buffet and dinner served to the table were delicious. If you're looking for a peaceful and welcoming escape in the mountains, this is the place!

This was the most accommodating hotel I’ve ever been to, the staff was absolutely lovely, it is so homey, with a traditional vibe in the best way, so clean (the cleanest room I’ve ever received), perfect for sauna of lovers, Ski in Ski out, wonderful scent of the products and the cleaning, extremely hospitable we had an amazing time!

We had a perfect stay. The hotel is run so well with a lot of attention to details and much effort of many people every day. The location is ideal, all the staff courteous and helpful, rooms comfy and very clean, the pool with sweet not chlorinated water has fantastic view, the breakfasts and dinners in the restaurant are superb. There are hundreds of hiking options in the area and with Sommercard the public transportation and many attractions are free of charge. It is definitely one of the hotels where you want to come back to. Thank you for a nice stay!

We liked everything about this place.

Nice, peacuful location with an amazing view on montains. Beautiful outside pool - a great place to relax after hiking or riding a bike in around Schladming. And the gastronomy here is amazing, we enjoyed every single meal. 🤩

The landscape was amazing, the lobby looks incredible and the outside swimming pool was very beutiful and clean. The room was big and comfortable and was beyond our expectations. The bathroom was well equiped and didnt lack a thing. The personal of the hotel were super friendly and willing to help.

The only thing that seemed kind of odd for us was the waiting times between meal courses at the dinner time. In our opinion, if the waiting time between the courses was shorter , the hotel would have 0 flaws.

Outstanding resort hotel up on the mountainside above town with fantastic views, excellent food and wonderful, friendly staff. Don't hesitate to opt for the half board plan.Summer Card for use on Gondolas and all buses in the area was a huge bonus.for the world class hiking trails nearby. We will be back without question.
