These apartments are lovely, 5 minute walk to main road which is virtually across road from rockley beach . They’re set in lovely grounds very well kept tidied up every morning, swimming pool is bonus although we didn’t really use much as beach is close and fantastic. The 2 bedroom apartment with balcony was spacious and spotless it was cleaned twice a week the shower very powerful and the beds very comfortable like being at home, also air conditioning in bedrooms was a real bonus also fans. The kitchen was fully equipped. All the staff were really friendly couldn’t do enough for you.

Everything! Room was comfortable. We were in the studio and we didn't spend much time in it so worked for us. It was clean, bed comfortable, little table to eat at and a lovely balcony. The kitchen facilities were enough to make a nice meal and if anything needed, just ask the staff. They are the best. Always smiling, always happy and interested in your day. They were all willing to help with anything... Taxis, tours, more towels, how to get to places and suggestions. Can't say enough about the staff. Bathroom was nice, updated, clean. The ground well maintained and the pool nice and clean. Always had a lounger although some need updating. Location was great. 10 minutes (slow seniors lol) to get to the main road for the zr busses that will take you to many beaches and restaurants. Around the corner from shakers restaurant which one of our favourite casual eateries. Walkable to stores, restaurants and beaches. Would definitely go back.

Not really negatives but just for information, the bus that passes the hotel doesn't come often so it was easier to do the 10 minute walk to the main road. Not a complaint but suggestion:the room could use more outlets beside the bed for cell phones, tablets, ereaders etc.

The location is perfect , far away enough from the main road for it to be quiet yet close enough to the beach, shops/ restaurants. The room was lovely, the pool was clean and peaceful , the staff where more like friends by the time we where leaving.. if I could give 100 stars I would

That I couldn't live there forever

We were both familiar with the area but had never stayed in that exact location. The apartments are situated in the ideal place for beach restaurants, food and other types of shops (clothes etc) and places to drink ,especially coffee shops. It is only a short walk to the beach, straight down the road, where one can go left or right for any amenities or straight onto the beach. There is a beautiful boardwalk that one can walk along, going left or right, passing numerous restaurants, beach food outlets and small ,independent beach outdoor shops. If you want to go into Bridgetown or to visit any other place, one only has to stand on the footpath, by the road and wait minutes before the small, Caribbean 'boom, boom' buses ( about the size of a camper van) come along !! They won't miss you as they have 'spotters' that stop and ask you where you want to go. They are called 'boom, boom busses' as they play Caribbean music all the time ; absolutely magical. The cost is only a few dollars, no matter how far you want to travel. The people of Barbados are so very friendly and helpful. We have made many friends there, especially the Spear Fischer men on the beach and , of course, the coffee shop ladies ! There are so many interesting places to visit, George Washington's house, the racecourse (excellent day out and nearly beside the beach), Rainforest gardens; so very much more to interest everyone.

Some umbrellas at the pool would be nice. Also a toaster in the kitchen would be great

Really impressed by this apartment. Staff were so friendly and helpful from the outset and the facilities in the room were great. Microwave, fridge freezer, cooler and utensils. We had everything we needed. The pool an added bonus and was clean. Close to Rockley beach and Bubba’s sports bar for breakfast. We had a very nice stay! Thank you!

The property was close to a busy road so was noisey at times. Didn’t affect us too much and we slept well. The curtains in the room would not close fully on one side. We got bitten a bit by mosquitoes but with air con on they seemed to disappear thankfully!

We were just staying 1 night prior to boarding a cruise ship. The apt was very clean, economical, and met our needs. The pool area was lovely and we enjoyed sitting out there in the evening. The receptionists were both very helpful- called a taxi for us, told us about bus service to Oistens fish market.

One pillow (out of 4) was VERY hard and could not be slept on. I wish we had asked host for a breakfast recommendation. We walked to the Madison Landis Bistro. Asked our waitress about omlette and if fillings were included in price- she said yes. When we received the bill we were charged for every extra topping- our bill was a total of $85 US dollars for 2 people. She did not tell us about extra charges. Menu said bacon/sausage was extra if added to omlette but was charged 4x the amount listed when asked for on the side. DO NOT EAT at the MADISON LANDIS BISTRO- they were a total ripoff.

The location was excellent, close to all the amenities, short walk to the beach, restaurants, cafes, bank Etc.

Decent sized, clean apartment. A little basic but good value. Full size gas cooker, bring matches to light stove top & fridge freezer, I don’t cook but appeared to have ample utensils. Bed was ok, good air con, nice large shower. Staff are exceptional, friendly & always willing to help. Beach is a 5 minute walk away. Sunbeds plentiful, with beach bars. Restaurants & bars in walking distance. Try Shakers & Salt cafe for excellent delicious food, booking usually required. If you feel like something special Champers one of the best restaurants on the island is 10/15 walk.

I arrived on a Sunday night & would have been good for reception to stock a few basics, milk etc.

Adulo apartments should be your number one choice for booking if you're looking for great staff and walking distance to many great places. We ended up at Adulo after a mishap with another booking and I truly believe that was the best worse thing to happen. Lol The property is clean, has a pool, bbq grill and is well secured at night with cameras and a patrolling security guard. Ideal for an island getaway, couples, solo travelers, budget travelers or heading to Barbados for a quick visa appointment. We were able to do the following in 4 days, 3 nights; Us embassy- $20us 15-20mins away The beach- 5 mins away Bubba's- 5 mins away Naru- 10 mins away Oistins fish night- Bus stop 5 mins away $3.50BBD Chefette and Bbq Barn- 7mins away Lots of banks, malls, mini marts all conveniently located in walking distance.
