It’s well located if you are driving. Next to a canal and a beautiful forest with a back road that takes you all the way to Bruges. Rooms are clean and silent , bathroom has a good size and the staff is super friendly. It’s the perfect place for a couple to spend the night when visiting the region. Free parking is available.

Had a great stay at the hotel De Vaart. A perfect location for our cycling break right on top of the Damme canal that links Brugge to Holland. Rudy and the team are fantastic hosts and we were made to feel very welcome. A great selection of beers on offer for post ride socialising and all very well priced. Breakfast was extensive and just what was needed to set you up for the day. The rooms are perfect for a cycling break and i had one of the best nights sleep i've had in a while add to that onsite secure cycle parking and what more can you ask for on a cycling break. I would defiantly stay again and would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family....5 stars all-round.

Tea/coffee making facilities in the room

The couple who manage the hotel are very helpful and friendly. It is in a lovely spot next to the canal and cycle route. There is a restaurant and bar next to the hotel which is ideal. They can provide breakfast which was very good. We were on a cyling trip from Dunkirk to Amsterdam and it was great for us as it was on the route. They also have secure bike storage

There were no negative issues

The location is very close to the E34, there’s a lovely country drive to get to it, and is in a beautiful place next to the canal. There are restaurants adjacent. The rooms are homely, clean and silent overnight, apart from a welcome dawn chorus from the birds! Only 5 miles away (but a world away!) is Knokke-Heist, with its 10 mile sandy beach and amenities.

Nothing, it’s good value for money, the family live on site meaning it’s welcoming and well-looked after.

This is a very cosy hôtel. The owners are super nice and the best part was the breakfast!! It was really homemade and you can feel the love of the owners in the plate. I really recommend for the price.

The only down part is that you need a car to get there but if you have a bike you can enjoy the cycling in the nature

We used this as a base for visiting nearby Bruges. It's in the country but near the main road to the coast and is easy to access, with lots of parking space. The owners are welcoming and friendly. It's only a short drive from Bruges, next to a lovely canal with avenues of trees. The bedrooms are a decent size with good bathrooms. We had everything that we needed.

Everything was as it should be.

The owners were so nice. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They booked us tables at the local restaurants and even gave us a lift into town. They let us lock our bikes in their shed and gave us the means to wash them.

The room was big, easy check in even at a late time, it is good location for sluis, knokke and brugge. Nice clean bathroom.

The room had a strange smell, almost like cigarettes but maybe it was the carpet. It was so strong that we struggled to sleep. But perhaps you get used to it.. otherwise it was all good!

The hotel is relatively close to Brügge, IF you have a car with you. The aquarium is beautiful.

The hotel is not that easy to find and the streets around it are no the the kind you easily drive. The room was preeetty small. No ascensor, so you'll have to carry your bags up the stairs.

Very clean and comfortable hotel. Lesley and Rudi have always been very kind and friendly towards us.
