Plenty of parking spaces, comfortable room and excellent breakfast. The staff in the breakfast area and the bar area were also very good. Heated swimming pool was a good temperature and pool area was very clean

The reception person was very sharp when we arrived. We were a few hours early but they insisted that we could not check in until 3pm. This was not the case as other guests were checking in before 3pm while we were waiting. The pool area was clearly signed no food, no glass or crockery and no smoking but there were guests doing all of these and we did not see any staff stopping this over the 2 days we were there. There were in fact 1 couple who were not even staying in the hotel who were there for over 5 hours eating and drinking food they had bought with them!

Everything!!!!! We went for 2 nights with my children and we all lives the place!!! the pool is amazing! perfect temperature absolutely clean and well mantained! the breakfast was great and open until 10 right next to the pool! The parking is huge and very practical and has a place to charge electric car. The reception staff is absolutely great! they we’re so nice with kids and providing towels for the pool as well. The rooms are also with enough space! we had a family room and it was perfect! with view to the pool. Tehre was also a huge park with a football out h which my children lives and played along with some friends who were also at the hotel. It was a PERFECT stay! The small city of De Haan is 7 min away by car and it’s a beautiful place! nice to walk along with shops and restaurants and very large beach. Absolutely recommend this hotel! We will love to come again!

would be nice to have a small fridge in the room to keep drinks.

This is an incredible hotel for a young family. The staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were fantastic. We loved the heated outdoor pool and the football pitch, there was even a football left to encourage you to play. The table football at the front was also a hit with our children and others. The hotel is set with the most beautiful backdrop surrounded by trees. Breakfast was fantastic, the rooms and hotel were all modern and clean. We loved the homely feel. It is a short walk to the nearby beach (15mins with kids) and easy tram and train ride to Bruges. The meal selection for dinner etc is limited but the quality and portions were fantastic. We loved our stay and would certainly return.

The parking is fairly pricey as you have to pay for two days if you stay overnight however this is all stated up front and you could choose to park elsewhere.

Breakfast is awesome - both food and the terrace. Parking great but paid (15EUR) - somehow I didn't spot that. Still, for prime location 5 min from the beach that is acceptable price. The pool is great and all that for a very good price taking into account that it is full summer on the seaside. Check-out at 12.00 is very convenient too. So, I discovered this hotel some time ago and keep coming back because it is worth it - very good value for money. Of course, it is still Ibis so rooms are basic but comfortable.

Staff really friendly and helpful, lady doing breakfast, particularly attentive and welcoming, I've never had someone ask me if I've found everything I wanted at a buffet breakfast, exceptional customer service! Breakfast items were also great, very good quality and cooked well, constantly refreshed, very impressed 👍 We had a family room which was super spacious

That it was off the beaten track, you were in walking distance of the local beach and it was lovely and peaceful, Also whilst I was there it brought back memories of a happier time i had when I was a child growing up with the family, I am talking about 40 years ago now we were in a place called Saint Jean De Monts in Brittany, France and this place was exactly like it. Small signposts telling you where everything was, families riding their bikes, Caravan Parks in the distance and a Chip shop takeaway bang in the middle,. My idea of heaven.

Comfortable bed and clean room. A good breakfast. Sufficient green area and warm pool in open area. It was a nice stay for 1 night and driving to Brugge. For last minute booking was a good hotel. We would like to stay here again.

The room was supposed to be pool view but campsite view. Breakfast was a bit expensive. There was not good quality dinner at this hotel. Parking place was expensive. We did not park in the hotel garden. There were a few free parking area around Hotel.

The staff and the management's kind and proactive attitude. The very comfortable room and the excellent breakfast.

Options for in-house lunch and dinner could be increased and, if economically sustainable, offer also fresh food. Sinks in the bedrooms' bathrooms are beautiful and good for the able-bodied, but with an inconvenient design and placed too high for a wheelchair user. I'm just trying to be picky though. The hotel and the related service are great beyond doubt.

A lovely hotel, staff very friendly & helpful. Room comfy, with plenty of hot water. Heating/air-conditioning worked well. We had a drink at the bar, which was very well priced. Didn't try the food, though.

Car parking useful as parking in De Haan is quite chaotic but 15 euros a little steep, especially as its necessary as no real alternative
