The owner was really nice, helpful and kind. She explained everything about the breakfast, the keys, the times for closing the exterior door, etc. She gave me her phone in case of an emergency like loosing the key etc.

I was aware it was an old building but the bathroom was very modern and clean. The room was big enough for a solo traveller with TV, hot water, heating all working :-) Breakfast was good I didn’t see like hot food but I was fine the variety she offered. I felt like my mum was looking after me.

Clean and large room. Excellent host. She offered to wash my clothes. This was after walking all day, and from the train station.. My socks really smelled bad. All these stereotypes about the French liking smelly clothes is not true. She washed my clothes. A little bit of walk from the train, 15 minutes but near the cafes and laundromat if necessary. This is an excellent alternative to Maastricht. This is where most of my work was done. Liege train station is a beautiful place Christopher

The bathtub is a little bit awkward. It needs more hand holds. Old people need more support.

Receptionist was kind and communication was clear even though we don't speak French. The room looked and felt very clean. There was a cozy bathtub. Lift was available to use and the hotel felt very quiet. Beds and pillows were great. There was free, clean water provided to fill up water bottles. Parking was available nearby no matter what time of day we were looking. Our request for an early check-in was accepted.

We needed a fan to sleep more comfortably (I think the room was supposed to have one, but we didn't see any). We thought the listing said they provided toiletries, but there was only soap and shower gel. And we didn't love the use of artificial air fresheners. Regardless, we would happily stay again!

The hotel is well maintained and very clean. The manager was kind and always available. Our room was comfortable with a small table & chairs, a desk and a nice bathroom with a large bathtub/shower. The hotel is walking distance to everything we wanted to visit. Breakfast was well laid out and had a good assortment of food.

Very cosy, authentic, small hotel. Lovely manager who was there at all times for us. Great location close to centre with free parking.

I felt the breakfast to be a bit simple. It was fresh, but choice could be more diverse, especially missed some warm option such as eggs or bacon.

Exceptionally friendly and accommodating staff. We were traveling with our one-year-old and they left a note at the staircase warning the other guests to avoid slamming doors because there was a baby staying at the hotel. They also had a baby bathtub for our little one. I never experienced this level of thoughtfulness at a hotel before. The location was also good and the premises were very clean.

Nothing I can think of

The room was very spacious and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was simple but good with fresh juice and fresh ham and cheese. The WiFI connection was rapid. The neighbourhoods were calm.

We had some troubles with the TV but we did not contact the reception, so probably it could have been rapidly solved.

Wonderful rooms in a beautiful old building right next to the city center and university facilities. The owner went above and beyond to accommodate my late check in request and was incredibly kind and generous throughout my stay.

Friendly and helpful staff who were able to communicate in my native language of English. The staff also let us check in early after we arrived early. Easy to find the hotel. Comfortable room. Good value for money.

The tap water in the room is not drinkable. You have to leave the room and go to the ground floor to get water. A minor inconvenience, but not one I remember seeing when I was booking the room.

I like very much the staff the staff of the hotel.They are very happy ,helpful and care every detail to make the guest feel comfortable and satisfied. Facilities are very clean and well kept.Rooms are big enough and the hotel is very well located .
