Fun, quirky decor with lots of cinema and music references. Very cool concept of mixing hostel and hotel rooms. Very comfortable beds, excellent attention to details, helpful and friendly staff. Having free coffee and tea available all day is appreciated. Would definitely recommend!

Breakfast fell below our expectations. It wasn't bad, it was a standard hotel breakfast, but it just wasn't on par with the above-average atmosphere and decor.

Amazing Stay at YUST Liège – Highly Recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an incredible experience staying at YUST Liège. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with any questions or local recommendations. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and the atmosphere throughout the hostel was warm and inviting. The design of the place is modern, stylish, and thoughtfully put together — a perfect blend of comfort and creativity. The rooms were exceptionally clean, with comfortable beds and secure lockers. I really appreciated the attention to detail, from the cozy common areas to the beautiful rooftop terrace, which offered amazing views of the city. One of the highlights was the shared kitchen and lounge area. It was a great place to meet other travelers, cook a meal, or just relax. The hostel also offers great events and activities, which added so much to the overall experience. The location is fantastic — close to the city center, public transportation, and some great local spots. Whether you're traveling solo, with friends, or as a couple, YUST Liège is the perfect place to stay. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in the area. The location is a perfect base for the station. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. There were sufficient utensils for cooking, although some washing up liquid would have been good too (not just dishwasher tablets). The shower tray was a bonus.

Only one socket by the bed and nowhere to put a glass of water. Only one of the lamps at the bed had a bulb and there was no option to switch the main lights off once in bed. The TV didn't work on the first night; I reported it and was told someone would come in the morning. When no one had come by 1pm, I went to reception; it appeared that no one had been told. The issue was easily resolved by replacing the remote control. The WiFi was spotty. A hairdryer in the room would have been better than a note to ask reception for one (I only found it after my shower).

Great hostel! It’s close to the train station, which makes it very convenient to check in right after arriving or to leave your luggage if you come by train or bus. Very quiet — I slept perfectly. The bed is made, and towels and earplugs are already placed on it. Excellent lounge area with tea and coffee; laundry facilities are available for an additional fee. The breakfast is very tasty and varied, so I recommend booking a room with breakfast included. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I definitely recommend this hostel!

The bathroom has black switches on black walls, which makes them very hard to find in the dark.

I needed a clean and comfortable place to stay for one night. Despite I'm not a big fan of hostels and mixed dormitory bunk beds but I liked the idea that it had curtains to have privacy. Also the late check-in because of the plane delay was so nice of them. Also the room was very spacious compared to any other hostel room.

The only thing I didn't like is that I didn't like was the locker for the Luggage, I'm not sure if it could be locked or not, maybe there is a way to lock it but I didn't know how to use it, and since I arrived late I didn't have time to ask the desk.

Restaurant was awful next door limited menu not very inspiring at all and grossly over priced go elsewhere maybe into town Breakfast same restaurant again awful !! Runny undercooked boiled eggs or undercooked scrambled! Fatty bacon tasteless cheeses boring breads need I say more Needs a total revamp as it lets down what in essence is a very good hotel I would stay again but would eat out and skip breakfast unless a very big improvement is instigated

Very close to the train station, not even a five minute walk. When you come in, it just looks beautiful. Check-in went very smooth. Nice room (female 8 beds), very nice spot to sleep with curtain and actually super cozy. Bed was super comfy. I even loved the pillow (which i never do in hotels). Bathroom + toilet are also very nice, clean and functional. Downstairs free coffee and tea

Everything was perfect. I hardly ever stay in dorms anymore, because I think i outgrew them and I easily get annoyed by things that are off or even slightly off, but really, I would stay here again without thinking!!!

Nice interior and atmosphere, comfortable and clean room, convenient location, friendly stuff, good breakfast, free tea and coffee in the lobby, water fountain on the floor.

Ventilation sound was sensible for me in the night, noisy neighbours (perhaps guests should be notified to be quiet after certain hours), restaurant capacity for dinner seemed to be small (couldn’t get a table after 8 pm) and it is closed on Tuesday (together with the roof terrace) - disappointing if it’s on the day of your stay.

Excellent location, close to the train station and to the water, plus within walking distance of the main areas of interest for tourism; friendly and helpful staff; the bunk beds with their own curtains feel quite private. They even give you earplugs, which is a lovely plus.

Having reception close at 11pm was a little tight for me, personally, as I was arriving late. Also the ventilation in the shower area was low, which made the shower room feel damp. (That doesn't affect the sleeping area, though, and it might be because I arrived late - many people probably used the shower since the last cleaning.)

Very good location. The underground parking is bright and large. There are sockets in the luggage boxes, which is convenient for leaving devices to charge. The shelf above your head is also very convenient. Thick curtains give a sense of privacy. The bathroom is simple, but clean and tidy. Large shared kitchen with everything you need. There are many cameras everywhere and everywhere access is only by keys and this instills a feeling of safety.

The room is very stuffy, poorly ventilated. The lighting in the bathroom is very weak. Most likely this is part of the design, but there is absolutely not enough light for shaving. The common areas are closed at night.
