When booking I was worried that we could arrive after 11.00 pm their last arrival time. I was given the code for the outside door which was extremely helpful. In the event we arrived earlier than expected and had a wonderful welcome from Reception. The smells form dinner were so enticing that we order an early breakfast which was all ready for us and delicious. The building was much more stylish than I was expecting. The shower was good. The car park was safe and had plenty of space to park our hire van.

The staff here were brilliant and really friendly. Wonderful welcome and friendly engagement at each encounter. The room was a good size and had everything needed. And it's in the middle of the town so everything is on the doorstep. Breakfast was good. Easy to park. Handy for the Westmalle brewery Cafe

The road is busy so it's a bit noisy. It felt like the hotel was in the middle of renovations. The bathroom was amazing, the bedroom is looking forward to an update

The staff was very friendly and helpful as usual. I accidentally overslept and was about 45 minutes late for the check-out, but the staff told me not to worry about it. The room was very neat, clean and comfortable. Unfortunately I didn't try the restaurant, but I have heard that it is a definite recommendation for both breakfast, lunch and dinner. I stay at De Heidebloem each time I come to Antwerp to visit friends or family. I hope to be back soon!

There are many different kinds of bread for breakfast. And include ham, cheese, eggs. You can request more if you want. Staffs are friendly.

The only one I didn't like is the bed. It's too soft for me. But may be someone will like it.

The Breakfast was individual for each Guest and special wishes like scrambled eggs were no problem. Nice big bathroom with Shower. Restaurant inside with a good kitchen.

Next time I would ask for a more quiet room and not with Main Street view. Sleeping with an open window was not possible because of the noise but this is something what I felt personally and what has nothing to do with the stay direct.

I knew what to expect as I stayed there in the 1980's/90's. A family run hotel which was good then and just as good now. 10 minutes off the Antwerp to Eindhoven motorway with other bars and restaurants in the village.

Friendly staff/ easy access/ great parking - excellent location for my needs.

No EV charging opportunity within the hotel compound. I've been told that they are working on that project. I believe this is becoming more and more relevant for the whole hotel business.

Hotel is nicely located with easy access to public transport. The food served is excellent. During my stay I did some very nice forests walks in the ''Dedrieboomkesberg ''' Westmalle country park approx 2 miles away from the hotel. A short walk from the country park brings you to the local Westmalle Abbey where you can taste their brewed 'Trappisten' beer.

The airco was a bit noisy. The matrass was a bit to soft for me....
