Our accommodations exceeded our expectations! The staff were extremely pleasant, courteous and helpful. It was my wife's 70th birthday and when we returned to our room after a full day excursion, a bottle of champagne was there along a Happy Birthday greeting made with flowers on our bed!

On our last night, the lights were off on the stair railing and sidewalk which made it very difficult to walk and dangerous. I didn't need to inform the front desk on this issue; it should have been noticed immediately once the lights were turned on in the resort.

The grounds were immaculate, the condo is very big, the front balcony was huge with the view of the ocean and dock, very quiet and peaceful, everything was very clean.

Communication between the staff members and what was conveyed to us in terms of when somebody would be out to fix something in the room. It took a few hours. AND if you plan to go on any excursions, make sure you know they will cancel if you don't have the minimum number of people. We almost didn't get to snorkel just because there were not 4 people signed up. Finally a 3rd person signed up and they allowed the boat to go out after I pushed hard. Really upset me that my entire vacation/tour might be just dismissed because they couldn't make an exception. Other people did say that they missed a few excursions and were refunded because of this problem. Not fair when you think about the costs involved just to get to Hopkins, Belize.

The Lodge at Jaguar Reef met our expectations - location was very nice, beach was relaxing, we used the bikes and golf carts to explore the area around the Lodge, including going into Hopkins for meals and bars. The staff was super friendly and helpful and knew our names, and the water excursions - Island Hopping - was excellent. They had to outsource an excursion to Cockscomb Basin Park for us because there was not enough people to make it a resort excursion (which worked out fine). We stayed in a second floor suite with plunge pool - it had a nice view and was very private.

The food was very mediocre. Breakfast was so so, Lunch was decent, but we ate dinner there on our second night and it was honestly, not good... had no taste - I had a shrimp pasta, it was like pasta with water.... we didnt eat another dinner at Paddlehouse after that - went to town or nearby beach restaurants.

The villa was beautiful. The back had a mini pool and sitting area which was lovely. The lodge itself was great. The landscaping was well maintained, the beach was gorgeous and clean. We loved the complementary use of the bikes, paddle boards and kayaks. The staff was fantastic. Everyone was friendly, kind and professional. We would definitely come back and also stay at the sister resort at Sleeping Giant.

Breakfast was not great. We had chix/waffles, pancakes and burrito, which were all undercooked. However, they did not charge us for the breakfast which was much appreciated. The kitchen was nicely stocked however, the dishwasher was not firmly in place and every time you open it, the whole thing would pull out. The towels were skimpy and there’s no washer and dryer in the villa.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Nice location and grounds are kept spotless. Dock bar and rope swing are great. The ceviche on the dock bar was amazing

Water went off multiple times during our stay. SUP are in serious need of upgrade (and would be nice if there were fins on the boards). In general, food and drinks are overpriced for the quality. Jaguar Reef did not follow the stated terms on booking.com

The property is gorgeous. We stayed at the condos at Jaguar reef and had a ton of space. Very modern and updated. Worth the splurge for the plunge pool. Cabanas were nice and usually available. Pool was also clean and not crowded. We love jumping off the rope swing on the pier. We use the free bikes and also rented a golf cart to get around town.

my only complaint would be the staff seem disorganized, and not proactive or super helpful.

The location was fantastic. The staff were very very friendly and helpful, even planning easter events and getting the kids involved. Beach was clean, everything well maintained. Decor was fantastic, people so friendly. pools were nice. really enjoyed our stay and would stay again in a minute!

The bed was so creaky! Everything else was lovely. Restaurant was beautiful but the food was so so .

Very nicely maintained and clean resort. Loved the water dispensers in room. Air conditioning worked great. It felt very luxurious for the area.

It wasn't clear that the spa wasn't part of the resort. It was hard to book. The Belize Collection concierge claimed to have booked services for us, but when we showed up at the spa, there was nothing.

Everything about the property and staff exceeded our expectations. The 2bd sea view villa with plunge pool was perfect for our family of 5. Definitely get the plunge pool — worth every penny!

Not much we didn’t like besides the vegan meals were priced the same or more as their seafood and meat dishes. And their was inconsistency with portion sizes, but overall very grateful they even had vegan options.

EVERYTHING! I've done a lot of world traveling, and this was the best place ever! Our room looked like where famous people stay. A big comfy bed, tile floors, high ceilings, a sitting area w tv, a private plunge pool that we used multiple times and view of the ocean. The swim up pool bar on the edge of the ocean took every care away that I could possibly have. I didn't want to leave. The food at dinner was incredible while we listened to local drummers. The next morning I sat on a big swing on the beach and felt like the happiest kid. I've never done return trips cause I always want a new experience, but I honestly might go back cause this place is everything one could want!

The ONLY thing I could say is that they turned the lights off during dinner for the drummers which was cool but then I couldn't really see my food and it was so good.
